A new North American Splatfest will be held in Splatoon 2 next week. This one is all about sports, putting baseball up against soccer.

The Splatfest begins on April 6 at 9 PM PT / April 7 at 12 AM ET. Expect the event to last for a full day, with the results coming soon after.

A few months ago, Studio Wumpus announced that Sumer was being worked on for Switch. The title now has a listing on the North American eShop, indicating that it’s launching next week.

Sumer is digital board game that blends action and strategy. You’ll play as Sumerian nobles, who are vying for the affection of the great goddess Inanna. Up to four people can play together.

Sumer arrives on April 5 for $14.99. We have additional information and an older trailer below.

SteamWorld Dig 2

Rising Star Games has announced a release date for the physical version of SteamWorld Dig 2. In North America, the game will be available on May 22. Europe will have it a month earlier on April 27.

SteamWorld Dig 2’s boxed version will include the game on a cartridge. The package also has an exclusive double-sided poster as well as a reversible inlay with never-before-seen artwork.

Nintendo Labo

Nintendo has updated the North American Nintendo Labo website with a lengthy FAQ. Four different categories are covered – “Basics”, “Make”, “Play”, and “Discover”.

The FAQ does hold some very interesting information. Nintendo goes over box and Toy-Con sizes, the durability of the cardboard, replacement parts, and a whole lot more.
