Pokemon GO adding Legendary Pokemon Raikou, Entei, and Suicune today

The next wave of Legendary Pokemon have arrived in Pokemon GO. Starting today, Raikou, Entei, and Suicune will be appearing in the game via Raid Battles.
Raikou can be battled throughout the Americas. Entei will be showing up in Europe / Africa, while Suicune can be found in the Asia-Pacific region. This will apply until September 30; after that, each Legendary Pokemon will move to a different location until October 31. They’ll each make one last stop in the missing location on October 31.

Miitomo update out now (version 2.3.0)

The new update for Miitomo teased earlier in the week is now available. Version 2.3.0 is out now.
Nintendo mentioned that the big part of the update would pertain to Mii creation, which is indeed the main news here. The app has now been updated to Switch standards with new skin and hair colors, glasses options, and more. Nintendo has also implemented performance improvements.

Fire Emblem Heroes’ latest summoning event, the long-awaited Choose Your Legends banner, is sure to draw a lot of attention. It seems like Nintendo agrees, since they went out of their way and released a live-action commercial for it, featuring Ike, Lucina, Roy, Lyn and even the fan favorite Black Knight, who sadly isn’t in the game yet. Fire Emblem Heroes: Brave Heroes summoning focus and Choose Your Legends gauntlet is now live

A new Fire Emblem Heroes update is now live which means there is a lot of new things to go over.
First off, the “Brave Heroes” summoning focus is now available which features 5 star versions of the Choose Your Legends versions of Lucina, Roy, Lyn, and Ike. Remember you won’t have to use an Orb on your first summon for this focus. There is also another summoning focus called “Free Summon: Brave Heroes” which allows you to get one of the new special characters for free but only once.
The Brave Heroes summoning focus also come with a new Paralogue Story and quests allowing you to get Orbs and Feathers.
The Choose Your Legends Voting Gauntlet is also now live which feature the Top 8 Heroes from the Choose your Legends event that people voted for before the game launched this year. The first round will allow you to choose either Lucina, Roy, Lyn, Ike, Hector, Tharja, Chrom, or Camilla.
There is also new quests available for the Voting Gauntlet which allows you to get Battle Flags for the gauntlet. This round for the Choose Your Legend Voting Gauntlet will last until September 2nd.
Finally, the Quick Hero Battle minigame is now live on the official website which allows you to get even more bonus Orbs and Feathers. You can click here or scan the QR code below with your mobile device to play the minigame.
Pokemon Duel balance update (Version 4.0.2) is coming tomorrow

A new balance update will be coming to Pokémon Duel tomorrow. Version 4.0.2 will add a Monthly Check In Bonus and some balance changes to these figures listed below.
Tyranitar:
- Increased wheel size of Earthquake
- Decreased wheel size of Miss
- Increased power of Crunch from 60 to 70
Haunter:
- Removed Eerie Light move and replaced it with Toxic
Mightyena:
- Increased power of Crunch from 50 to 70
- Removed Bite and replaced it with Ice Fang

Miitomo has been updated with new Daily Decorations. Users can check back daily for wallpapers and floorings, including the following:

Pokemon GO update rolling out (version 1.43.1 / 0.73.1)

A new update is going out for Pokemon GO. Players should soon see version 1.43.1 on iOS, or version 0.73.1 on Android.
The latest update does add a couple of things, like the option to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym using Pokemon GO Plus. You can also see the number of Trainers entered / preparing for a Raid Battle before using a Raid Pass.
The full patch notes for Pokemon GO are below:
- Added the ability for Trainers to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym using the Pokémon GO Plus accessory.
- Added the ability to view the number of Trainers entered, and preparing, for a Raid Battle before using a Raid Pass.
- Improved Pokémon Collection screen search functionality by allowing Trainers to search through their Pokémon’s moves using the @ character.
- Resolved a bug which caused the Raid Boss to always break free from the last Premier Ball.
- Resolved a bug that prevented Trainers from seeing they’d received double XP from Raid Battles when using a Lucky Egg.
- Various bug fixes.

Fire Emblem Heroes devs on risque art, overpowered teams, power creep, colorless units

Fire Emblem Heroes has been around for about half a year, and the game is starting up its Choose Your Legends bonus banner tomorrow. With that in mind, Polygon spoke with Intelligent Systems director Kouhei Maeda and Nintendo director Shingo Matsushita about the mobile game. Topics include some of the risque art created for Fire Emblem Heroes, overpowered teams, caution over power creep, and player frustration with colorless units.

Fire Emblem Heroes has a new Brave Heroes event. Tying in with that, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have created some special art for the mobile game.
What’s noteworthy here is some text on Lucina’s sword. After it was translated, fans noticed that it roughly signifies “anime project success”. Fans are now hoping that this is a sign about an anime, though we’re quite far from a confirmation at this point. Regardless, is it something you’d like to see?
