Super Mario Run update out now (version 2.1.1)
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Mobile, News | 2 Comments
Nintendo has updated Super Mario Run on both iOS and Android. Both versions are now at version 2.1.1.
As the small increase in version numbers suggests, this is a small patch. Nintendo merely addressed a problem where the support code 804-3400 would be displayed and the game wouldn’t start.

Cheating in Pokemon GO is something Niantic has been trying to address since the game launched last year. Within the past few days, the studio appears to have put a new security measure in place to address the situation. Players who are classified as cheaters will find that rare Pokemon are now hidden.
Here’s a look at a warning message some users have been receiving:

Magikarp Jump now out in Japan; new patch adds support for multiple languages, including English
Posted on 8 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in Mobile, News | 1 Comment
As we reported yesterday, Magikarp Jump is now available on the Japanese Google Play and iOS stores. However, what’s noteworthy is that this release came with a new patch for the game, which brings it to version 1.0.1. This version includes language support for English, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese. If you can access the Japanese web stores, you can now play the game in the language of your choosing. Even if you can’t do that though, it shouldn’t be too much longer until the game is properly released in more countries.

Magikarp Jump to be released on Japanese Google Play and iOS stores tomorrow
Posted on 8 years ago by Matt(@OnePunchMaz) in Mobile, News | 0 comments
The release of Magikarp Jump, the latest Pokemon mobile spin-off, has been weird, to say the least. After its initial reveal, there had been near-total radio silence on the game – until the game was suddenly released last week, but only on Italian mobile storefronts, for some reason. It seems like the game’s international roll-out is now slowly picking up steam. The game will be released on Japanese Google Play and iOS stores tomorrow, May 23rd. Releases in other countries haven’t been confirmed yet, though it likely won’t be too much longer until the game is out in most major countries.

Niantic: “This summer will be legendary”
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Mobile, News | 7 Comments
Pokemon GO was a big winner at the 21st Annual Webby Awards. Most significantly, it was selected as best mobile game.
Niantic’s global product marketing lead Archit Bhargava stopped by to accept the award, and delivered a short but sweet speech. He simply stated: “This summer will be legendary.”
Bhargava’s brief comment comes off as a tease for future Pokemon GO plans. Players are still waiting on Legendary Pokemon to appear in the game after all. With Pokemon GO coming up on its first year anniversary, offering these creatures would be a nice way to celebrate the event. Niantic CEO John Hanke also indicated a few months ago that Legendary Pokemon are a part of Niantic’s plan for the game in 2017, which could be happening during the summer.
