Sam & Max Save the World Remastered

Sam & Max Save the World originally released well over a decade ago. However, Skunkape Games delivered a remaster, and it’s out now on Switch.

Thankfully for fans, the developer’s plans for Sam & Max won’t be stopping anytime soon. During a recent Reddit AMA, Skunkape confirmed that it intends to release more remasters for the series. The team is “already diving into season 2” in fact.

The manner in which Skunkape Games approaches future remasters will ultimately be up to fans. “How well Save the World sells will help us determine the scope for the remasters of seasons 2 and 3,” the studio said.

Unsung Story

Unsung Story, a game that we first heard about in 2014, is still pretty far away from release. However, Little Orbit is now about to put the project on Steam Early Access, which at least indicates things are coming along.

A new trailer for Unsung Story was also released just recently. We’ve included the video below.

Merchant of the Skies

Merchant of the Skies, the trading game for Switch with light base-building and tycoon elements, was recently updated. It features a new turtle shop, fixes, and more.

Kingpin: Reloaded

Kingpin: Reloaded, a redone version of the 1999 first-person shooter Kingpin: Life of Crime, isn’t launching this year as originally planned – hardly a surprise given how only a few days remain in 2020.

In a message shared with fans, the team said that “some major changes” took place during development, causing the delay. Rather than recreating things in a modern engine, the original game and engine have been reverse engineered, “essentially re-creating the missing sources from scratch.”

Thankfully, development is progressing smoothly. More news will be shared in January.

Here’s the full message detailing Kingpin: Reloaded’s current status:

Inmost

The cinematic puzzle-platformer Inmost has received a new update on Switch. Version 1.0.4 includes performance improvements, fixes, and more.
