The Game Awards today revealed the full lineup of nominees for its show in December. Several Nintendo-related games are represented, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons – which is included for the Game of the Year category.

Jupiter is continuing on with the puzzle series Picross S with the latest addition, Picross S5. It’ll be launching for Switch in just a few days – specifically November 26.

Publisher Super.com and developer Orbit Studio today announced Retro Machina, a retro-futuristic action-puzzle adventure game. A release is planned for Q1 2021.

When the Past Was Around has been delayed again on Switch. Thankfully, the wait won’t be terribly long. It’s been announced that the point-and-click adventure game will now arrive in mid-December.

Arcade Archives Zero Team heading to Switch this week

Arcade Archives Zero Team is releasing on Switch this week, Hamster has announced. A worldwide release is set for November 19.
Zero Team originally released for arcades in 1993. The side-scrolling beat ’em up, developed by Seibu Kaihatsu, has players rescuing a kidnapped girl.
Pricing for Arcade Archives Zero Team is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Super Mario Bros. 35 – next Special Battle event announced for November 20

Super Mario Bros. 35 will be hosting its latest Special Battle event starting on November 20. This time around, you’ll begin playing with a Super Star, and you’ll need to take down enemies to add more time to the clock.
Nintendo is featuring a few courses, including 1-1, 2-1, 2-3, 3-1, 3-2, 5-4, 6-2, 6-4, and 8-1. The Super Star will also be appearing more than usual.
The new Special Battle for Super Mario Bros. 35 will last until November 23.

Outpost Delta getting new update today

The Metroidvania sci-fi twin-stick shooter Outpost Delta is getting updated on Switch today.
It includes a new map to help players navigate the environment, a new record log to read all communications, new boss fight music, and improvements to levels. Some smaller game changes include level design improvements, controller improvements, various bug fixes, and improvements to enemy AI.
Outpost Delta is currently available for Switch via thee eShop.
