Switch eShop

Pokemon Unite, the recent free-to-start strategic Pokemon team battle game announced by The Pokemon Company, Tencent, and Timi Studios, has received a new batch of screenshots. The images were apparently leaked on Chinese social media.

The screenshots show a few new things. We’re able to get a look at more Pokemon in the game (including the confirmation of Gen 8 Pokemon) and a trainer customization system. It seems there are plans for limited season costumes that can be earned when you receive a ranking in the seasonal battle league.

Puzzle-platformer

Starting today, Switch owners can get their hands on the puzzle-platformer Dodo Peak. View the game’s official launch trailer below.

Double Kick Heroes

Double Kick Heroes, which was first announced for Switch in January 2019 and was expected last summer, has finally secured a release date. Headbang Club announced today that the rhythm shooter mashup will launch via the eShop on August 13. Pre-orders go live on August 5.

Alchemist Adventure

Publisher Super.com and developer Bad Minions today announced that Alchemist Adventure, an upcoming action-adventure game, is in the works for Switch. A release is planned for Q4 2020.

Carrion

Carrion has surpassed 200,000 copies sold, publisher Devolver Digital and Phobia Game Studios have announced.

The milestone is being celebrated with a “Behind the Screams” video from Imagos Films. Fans can watch it below for an “unfiltered interview with Carrion’s star beast and understand the physical and emotional toll it took to create its art.”

Rogue Company

Hi-Rez Studios and First Watch Games recently brought the third-person tactical action shooter Rogue Company to Switch. Based on a new analysis from Digital Foundry, it sounds like the Switch version turned out pretty well.
