Holy Potatoes: What The Hell?!

A couple of the Holy Potatoes games are already on Switch. Another one of the series’ entries, Holy Potatoes: What The Hell?!, is about to land on the system as well. An eShop listing reveals that Holy Potatoes: What The Hell?! is launching on June 24.

Apex Legends

Yesterday, EA and Respawn Entertainment revealed that Apex Legends is heading to Switch. GameSpot spoke with director Michael Higham to chat a bit more about bringing the battle royale game over to the console.

Higham noted that Apex Legends is “looking really good and running very well” on Switch currently. The team has “been working on it for awhile,” and is now in the testing phase. Additionally, we have confirmation that gyro controls are supported.

Demon's Rise: War for the Deep

Publisher Silesia Games and developer Wave Light Games have announced that Demon’s Rise: War for the Deep, a turn-based tactical RPG, will be on Switch soon. It’s expected digitally on July 9 via the eShop.

Pool Slide Story

Kairosoft is readying its next simulation game for Switch. Pool Slide Story will launch digitally on July 2, the company announced today.

Hamster announced a pair of additional titles for its Arcade Archives series during a live stream today. Sunsoft’s 1982 title Kangaroo along with Jaleco’s P-47 The Freedom Fighter from 1988 are both now confirmed for Switch. Specific release dates have not yet been provided.

Hamster has other Arcade Archives releases in store for Switch as well, including Super Punch-Out!! We have more information about recently-confirmed titles here.

Octonaut

The retro shoot ’em up Octonaut will arrive on Switch next week, publisher Eastasiasoft has announced. It will be available on June 25.

The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters

The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters, a Korean survival horror-adventure, lands on Switch today. We have the official launch trailer below.

The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is being distributed digitally on Switch via the eShop.

Jump Rope Challenge

Nintendo has announced a new milestone for its downloadable Switch game Jump Rope Challenge. In just three days, players have recorded more than 200 million jumps worldwide.

Jump Rope Challenge, which was made by a small group of Nintendo developers while working from home in Japan during the coronavirus pandemic, was added to the Switch eShop this past week. Players can jump rope virtually and watch the on-screen counter increase with each successful hop. A second player can join in with another Joy-Con as you strive for a high score.

Switch owners can access Jump Rope Challenge from the eShop until the end of September.
