Switch eShop

Suicide Guy was originally planned for Switch this month. Chubby Pixel will be missing that target, but not by much.

A tweet sent out by the developer confirms that Suicide Guy will be available on the Switch eShop starting May 10. The news was also accompanied by a brief bit of handheld footage – see below.

Brawlout update

Brawlout’s next big update has gone live on Switch. A ton of content and features have been added, including Mako, the Paco Character Variant. Ranked Mode, video capture, and more are also in.

We’ve posted the full patch notes for Brawlout version 1.3.0 below. Aside from a rundown on features, they cover character balancing and a few other details.

Edmund McMillen of Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac fame has long been working on The Legend of Bum-bo. Today, a proper update was finally provided, including the first trailer.

The Legend of Bum-bo is a turn-based puzzle RPG starring Bum-bo from The Binding of Isaac. You’ll be performing offensive and defensive attacks in combat with a match-4 puzzle system, exploring randomly-generated dungeons, and more.

QubicGames is working with Retro Reactor to port One Strike to Switch, the company has announced.

Retro Reactor is a 2D fighting game with medieval fighters and landscapes. Matches tend to last only a few seconds, with a single hit deciding matches. You can fight against a friend or the AI.

Timberman VS

Digital Melody has readied a new trailer for Timberman VS, which is coming soon to Switch. You can view the video below.

A listing on the European eShop shows that Super Saurio Fly on the eShop next week – specifically April 28. We can also confirm its availability in North America on the same day.

Created by FraxelGames, Super Saurio Fly is a 2D arcade platformer and adventure game. Here’s a general overview:

Did you know that Okami’s 12th anniversary is today? Capcom hasn’t forgotten, and is celebrating with some special art.
Mari Shimazaki and Kenichiro Yoshimura, the lead designers on Okami, worked together to create the image above.

After previously coming to Wii, Okami will be returning to a Nintendo system once again this summer. Capcom intends to release Okami HD via the eShop.
