Riptide GP Renegade has a release date on Switch. It’s confirmed for December 7 in both North America and Europe.

Riptide GP Renegade is a racer in which armored riders can “kick out death-defying stunts over massive waterfalls, dodge cops through public waterways, and boost at breakneck speeds across surging waves.” New vehicles, playable characters, and customization features can be unlocked. Online and local multiplayer are also supported, and Vector Unit previously indicated that cross-play will be supported.

Continue on below for plenty of additional details and a trailer for Riptide GP Renegade.

ACA NeoGeo World Heroes is now available on the Switch eShop worldwide. In the gameplay video below, you can get a look at the game in action.

The last time Hironobu Sakaguchi worked on consoles was for the 2011 Wii RPG The Last Story. Since then, he’s dedicated his time to mobile projects, including the Terra Battle series.

Switch could mark Sakaguchi’s return to dedicated gaming systems. In an interview with Forbes, he mentioned that Mistwalker has started on Terra Battle 3, which could be a fit on consoles. Sakaguchi specifically said that Switch “is a very good piece of hardware”, so bringing Terra Battle 3 over may not be out of the question.

Zen Studios has determined a new release date for Pinball FX3. The game will be published on the eShop on December 12.

While this is several weeks later than what was initially planned, Zen Studios took the extra time to make a number of improvements. You’ll now be able to hold the screen vertically in your hands when only one Joy-Con is attached instead of two. HD Rumble and vertical orientation are also supported.

The wait for the original Super Meat Boy on Switch is almost over. In a newsletter sent to fans, Team Meat states that a December launch is currently planned.

The newsletter also contains a curious tease. Team Meat writes that the Switch version will have something “special”. Apparently it should be “a pretty enticing reason for Switch owners to get the game again if they already own it on other systems.”

Team Meat also brought up the possibility of a physical version. The developer hears fans on that front and is “working on it”, so hopefully we’ll have some news to share in the future.

Reddit user OldSoul2 shared something rather interesting today. Over the past three months, he claims to have been receiving internal company emails from EA about two upcoming titles. One of these if Fe, which is slated for Switch.

Some of the information OldSoul2 has received in emails, which look admittedly convincing, is especially noteworthy. The Fe section mentions a Nintendo Direct for January, which will tie in with a Switch trailer and previews. Also, Fe is apparently planned for a February 2018 launch.
