Gravity Circuit update 1.2.0

A new version 1.2.0 update is now available for Gravity Circuit – and it technically includes three updates in one.

The main highlight this time around is support for new Game Modifiers. Players can experience the title in different ways such as more challenge in levels, double damage from hazards, and more. Also included are quality of life additions and bug fixes.

Here’s the full rundown:

Outer Wilds update 4

The team behind Outer Wilds is still improving the game, and update 4 just went live on Switch.

Many improvements are included here for players on Nintendo’s console. The update includes lots of fixes to visuals across the game, some performance improvements, fixes some community reported bugs, and brings along some features found in patch 15 on other platforms. Worth noting, this is apparently the last major Switch patch panned.

The full overview of today’s update is as follows:

Bloodstained Ritual of the Night Classic II Dominique's Curse DLC

June 5: The fun continues with Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, and details are available for the brand new Classic II: Dominique’s Curse Premium DLC.

The DLC allows players to experience retro gameplay on a new, larger map. It’s filled with dangerous (and sometimes helpful) demons.

Here’s some additional information:

Wargroove 2 update 1.2.7

The latest update for Wargroove 2, version 1.2.7, is now available.

Adjustments are included here, particularly for Commanders since some “were becoming too dominant due to how quickly their Tier 2 Grooves could be charged.” Also, Valder’s Tier 2 was a little too powerful, so that’s been fine-tuned as well. Damage the Trebuchets do has been scaled back a bit as well given how dominant they are.

Here’s the full rundown of the update:

The countdown for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance continues, and today’s Daily Demon is one of the more well-known angels, Metatron.

Switch update 18.1.0

Nintendo just started distribution of the latest Switch update, and version 18.1.0 is rolling out now.

It was previously announced that the system would be losing X integration. With today’s update, that has been removed. It affects the Album, Smash World on the Switch Online app, and Splatoon 2 are affected. Additionally, Nintendo also removed the ability to link social media accounts in “Friend Suggestions” entirely.

Also, it wouldn’t be complete without stability improvements. Nintendo says that’s included as well.

Paper Mario The Thousand-Year Door review

System: Switch
Release date: May 23, 2024
Developer: Intelligent Systems
Publisher: Nintendo

Switch has proven itself quite the bastion for turn-based RPGs, but the GameCube of over two decades ago didn’t get quite the same treatment. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door was one of just a handful of games where the eager adventurer could whet their appetite for grinding battles to level up, collecting money, and adding to their item stash at every new town. Now with a fresh coat of paint and a host of new features, is the title worth returning to after two decades?

Monopoly

Ubisoft today announced Monopoly, its latest take on the legendary board game. It will be available this September on Switch.
