Switch

Thus far, Nintendo has said very little about Switch’s successor. It’ll be announced by March 2025… and that’s all we know.

While we wait for Switch 2, the current Switch is going strong. Although Nintendo’s first half of the year was a bit on the weaker side in terms of software, the second half is making up for that. Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario & Luigi: Brothership, and Super Mario Party Jamboree are coming in the months ahead.

Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus physical

Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus will be digital-only on Switch in the west at launch, but not in Japan (and Asia) as a physical release is planned in the region. Marvelous is producing a boxed version for fans.

Just like all Switch games, the physical version will be region-free. It can be played in English as well as Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean.

boo locations Luigi's Mansion 2 HD

Today, we’ve put together a list of all the Boo locations in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.

Boos are one of two main collectibles found in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – in addition to gems, which we’ve already covered. Whereas some gems can be collected in several different missions, there is strictly one Boo per mission. Basically, discovering Boos requires the Dark-Light Device, which you don’t obtain until after the first few missions in the Gloomy Manor. Despite this, the first couple of levels do indeed have Boos, which means you’ll have to go back and replay them after you obtain the Dark-Light Device. To reveal a Boo, you will need to reveal a hidden furniture item with your Dark-Light Device and then suck up the spirit pieces to reveal it. From there, continue using your Dark-Light Device to bring the Boo out of hiding, and then grab its tongue and pull to deal damage to it.

Elypse physical

Elypse, which was previously made available on Switch digitally, is now getting the physical release treatment. Red Art Games is behind production.

The company only appears to be handling a standard version of the game. No special editions have been announced at this time.

The Karate Kid Street Rumble

The Karate Kid: Street Rumble was just revealed, and it’s heading to Switch in just a couple of months. GameMill will be publishing the title on September 20, 2024.

The Karate Kid: Street Rumble is a multiplayer side-scrolling beat ’em up game with a 16-bit style. Players will go through the storylines of the series’ original movies, battle foes such as Johnny Lawrence, John Kreese, Terry Silver, and explore levels inspired by the trilogy including Topanga Beach, West Valley High, Cobra Kai Dojo, and the All Valley Tournament.

Splatoon 3 July 2024 Splatfest

June 21: Nintendo is gearing up for the latest Splatfest in Splatoon 3, which will be held just in time for the summer.

For the latest theme, players are asked if they’d prefer a palace, a theme park, or a beach. The question here is which of the three you’d like to reserve for a day.

Nintendo Switch Online Densetsu no Starfy 1-3

A trio of games have just joined the GBA section of the Nintendo Switch Online service, and the full set is dedicated to the Starfy series. They can be accessed if you’re a member of the Expansion Pack tier.

Densetsu no Starfy, Densetsu no Starfy 2, and Densetsu no Starfy 3 are all available worldwide. This is significant as these titles were never previously released outside of Japan. The Legendary Starfy on DS is the only entry in the series that made it to the west.

Here’s some information about the different games:
