Monster Boy has gone gold, still set to release December 4

At long last, it appears that Monster Boy is finally set to debut both digitally and physically for the Nintendo Switch on December 4, as stated by publisher FDG Entertainment early last month.
After what was a somewhat tumultuous period of release date delays from Spring to Summer, the studio has announced that the game has gone gold, setting the release date in stone once and for all.

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists delayed to January 31 in Japan

In a slew of news coming out of Koei Tecmo and Gust Corporation tonight, it has been confirmed that the release of Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists has been delayed to January 31, 2019 in Japan.
While the initial launch was slated for December 13, it is stated that the delay is being implemented in order to further improve game quality.
It is unclear at this time if this delay will impact the North America and Europe release window of “early 2019”.

Following up on our story on Piana being confirmed to appear in Atelier Lulua: The Scion of Arland, some new tidbits of information have come out from this week’s full issue of Famitsu.
More specifically, the game’s character designer Mel Kishida and producer Junzo Hosoi have shared some insight into the title in a new interview with the publication.

Warriors Orochi 4 passes 500K sold worldwide, free update now available

As part of a first half financial report out of Koei Tecmo, the developer and publisher has confirmed that their recent release of Warriors Orochi 4 has already eclipsed 500,000 copies sold worldwide across all platforms.
To celebrate the success of the title, the studio has released a free update patch that introduces new and improved Divine Instruments to five characters. These characters include Zeus, Ares, Athena, Odin, and Perseus.

Capcom has dated Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy for Switch in Japan. A release is planned for February 21.
Along with the regular release, the e-Capcom store will be selling limited editions. Goodies include a soundtrack CD, drama CD, mini canvas art piece, buildable Blue Badger kit, and Steel Samurai trading cards.

Nintendo has returned with a new piece of music for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Today’s track is Guile Stage, which originates from Street Fighter II.
Yuzo Koshiro is responsible for the new arrangement. Koshiro has worked on a ton of soundtracks throughout his career, including the Streets of Rage series.
