The next new weapon coming to Splatoon 2 is the Sorella Brella. It’s identical to the Splat Brella in terms of stats, but comes with the Autobomb sub-weapon and the Splat Bomb Launcher special instead. It’ll be available on Saturday around noon in Japan and Australia, early in the morning in Europe and Friday night in North America.

Just one day before launch, NIS America has cancelled the release of the standard edition of Penny-Punching Princess in the UK. The publisher says that they discovered that “the orders for this title would not be able to be fulfilled by their proper release date” and thus they decided to cancel the game’s physical release in the UK entirely.

If you live in the UK, your only option for a physical copy of the game is the Limited Edition, which is available exclusively on the NIS America online store. Otherwise, you will have to buy the game digitally. Note that all of this only applies to the UK – the physical release of the game in other regions has not been affected.

The next Splatoon 2 map is arriving very soon. Piranha Pit will be added to the game later this week, Nintendo has confirmed.

Piranha Pit will be out on Friday at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. That should be Saturday at 3 AM in the UK / 4 AM in Europe.

Nintendo Switch

Famitsu has just reported its latest hardware sales figures from Japan. For the week of March 19, sales tracking data has Switch at another 52,000 units sold. Total sales are at 4,037,144 units.

Famitsu reports that with that figure, Switch has surpassed four million units sold in Japan. The milestone was reached 56 weeks into the system’s lifespan.

Switch is also on a similar pace as Wii. With Wii, the console sold over four million units by its 54th week.

Warner Bros. finally announced LEGO The Incredibles today after several leaks. Since the game has been made official, retailers have started opening pre-orders.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained’s latest Kickstarter update was posted today. Although it didn’t arrive with a release date as originally expected, we do have quite a bit of news.

First, the game’s full English voice cast has been revealed. Highlights include Erica Lindbeck as main character Miriam, David Hayter of Metal Gear Solid fame as Zangetsu, and Rena Strober (Fire Emblem Fates’ Azura) as Anne.

Original: Fire Emblem Warriors’ next big update is here. Along with version 1.5.0, the Fire Emblem Awakening DLC is out now.
