Level-5 has been one of steadiest third-party supporters of Nintendo in the last couple of years, releasing quite a few titles on the 3DS – and that support is now going to continue on the Switch. Speaking to Nikkei (thanks to Gematsu for the translation), Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino stated the following:

“Basically, in the future our main titles will all be released on Nintendo Switch. The idea is that what we have created for 3DS will move over to Switch.”

Among what has been promised for Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Nintendo and Monolith Soft have said that new Rare Blades will be added. With the game’s latest update, some information on this front has finally been provided.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2 players can begin to expect new Rare Blades starting in early May. They’ll be delivered in installments, meaning we’ll be seeing multiple additions.

Aside from Rare Blades, a bunch of other content will be delivered throughout 2018. A Challenge Battle Mode and new story DLC are also planned.

Arc System Works has two new videos ready for Cube Creator X focusing on game’s “Home World” and plating. We’ve included both below.

Super Bomberman R has sold nearly one million copies worldwide on Switch. That’s according to Konami president Hideki Hayakawa, who shared the news in an interview with Nikkei Trendy.

Hayagawa pointed out how Super Bomberman R was the only completely original third-party title available at Switch’s launch. That alone helped the game catch on with new system owners. Aside from Japan, it has been performing well in the west.

Nintendo president Tatsumi Kimishima confirmed that Super Bomberman R shipped over 500,000 copies in March 2017, less than a month after the release of Switch.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump provides an update on Dragon Quest Builders 2. Along with the latest images, some new information is provided about the backstory for the protagonists on more.

Here’s the full rundown, courtesy of Gematsu:

The latest issue of Weekly Jump confirms to more characters for the roster of My Hero Academia: One’s Justice. Stain and Shota Aizawa, a villain and hero respectively, will both be playable.

Stain is voiced by Gou Inoue. He uses quick movement, and specializes in long-distance knife-throwing attacks. With his “Bloodcurdle” quirk, he can stop opponents from moving. As he continues to cut away at the enemy, the more the effect increases.

Shota Aizawa, voiced by Junichi Suwabe, uses his Capturing Weapon. This makes his opponents unable to use their quirk. Doing so lets Shota perform counter attacks in close combat.
