Retro Studios made Metroid Prime Remastered, but Iron Galaxy and others involved

Thanks to the credits for Metroid Prime Remastered, we have new insight into the team behind the release.
While Retro Studios largely handled development, a number of other companies were involved. Iron Galaxy Studios, who previously worked on Switch versions of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Diablo III, and Overwatch seemed to play a prominent role during development. Airship Images Limited, Atomhawk Design, CGBot, Gamesim Inc, Liquid Development, Original Force LTD, Shanghai Mineloader Digital Technology, and Zombot Studio are also listed in the credits.
Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse gets new trailer

Original: Koei Tecmo uploaded a new trailer today for its remastered version of Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse for Switch. Fans can get another look at how the title has been updated compared to the Wii original – which never left Japan.

Two Point Campus Valentine’s Day update out now (version 4.0), patch notes and trailer

Two Point Campus just gained a new version 4.0 update, which comes in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
New items are available, along with a brand-new challenge mode level. Players will find balloons to brighten up each room, a new vase to store their love confessions in, a comfy duvet for two, and the tunnel of love. Cupid will even visit the campus and may leave behind some of his “Love Bombs” that will whip up the students into a romantic frenzy. All items and the challenge mode will stick around after the event ends.

NIS America today shared a final release date for Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook in the west. The game is due out for Switch on May 23 in North America and May 26 in Europe.
Monster Menu: The Scavenger’s Cookbook originally debuted in Japan this past January. The western version previously had a general Spring 2023 launch window.
Jet Kave Adventure getting a physical release on Switch

Jet Kave Adventure will have a physical release on Switch, Strictly Limited Games announced today in partnership with 7Levels.
3,000 copies will be produced. Along with a soundtrack download code, each unit contains a manual with over 30 pages of art work and concepts.

Thanks to GameSpot, we have a new comparison video for Metroid Prime Remastered that has the Switch version going up against the GameCube original. Additionally, new gameplay has surfaced.
It’s clear that Retro Studios put quite a bit of work into Metroid Prime Remastered. Aside from an updated resolution, assets have been updated, lighting has been improved, and more.

Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster was only just announced for Switch a short while ago, but Bandai Namco has followed up with more details including enhancements being implemented, frame rate, resolution, and more. This stems from an official FAQ.

The latest update for Fire Emblem Engage has been made available, with the game moving up to version 1.2.0.
Support has been added for the Wave 2 Expansion Pass DLC. Also included is an adjustments and issues that have been addressed.

Nintendo says its game prices are determined “on a case-by-case basis”, $70 not the trend going forward

Nintendo made it official today that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will cost $70, but that doesn’t mean it’s a sign of things to come. Game Informer managed to get a couple of comments from the company about the situation that may clarify things slightly.
As for why the new Zelda game is priced the way it is, Nintendo simply stated: “We determine the suggested retail price for any Nintendo product on a case-by-case basis.” Game Informer also asked if this is the trend for Nintendo games in the future, to which the Big N said: “No. We determine the suggested retail price for any Nintendo product on a case-by-case basis.”
