Wave Race 64 and Mario Sports Mix will be hitting the Wii U’s Virtual Console today, August 11. Wave Race 64 will cost $9.99, while Mario Sports Mix will cost $19.99. Below are the official descriptions for each:

Wave Race 64
Take to the waves on your own personal watercraft!

Choose one of four characters, each with his or her own unique abilities and style, and master the game’s excellent controls. Make your way through nine courses, each with its own challenges. If the ramps, mines, and hairpin turns aren’t enough, you’ll also have to deal with varying weather conditions that can make the water choppy or cover the course with fog. Take a break from racing to try the Stunt Mode. Polish your skills pulling off handstands, rolls, flips, and more!

Mario Sports Mix
Four sports, one game—with a Mario twist!

Mario Sports Mix presents four familiar sports but with a Mario twist. Players can choose from a variety of playable Mushroom Kingdom characters or play as their own Mii characters. In any sport, power-ups can turn the tide of a game in an instant. And in over-the-top Mario sports fashion, each character can unleash their special move!

Citadale: Gate of Souls is making its way to Europe very shortly. The game’s developer has now confirmed plans to launch it on August 18 via the eShop. No word on a North American date for the time being.

Update 2: Bumped to the top. Europe will also be getting Poncho on the same day:

Update: Here’s a trailer:

It’s a bit unclear if Europe will have Poncho on the same day. We’ll let you know if we find out!

Rising Star Games and Delve Interactive originally launched Poncho last year. We haven’t heard much about the status of the Wii U version, but we should be seeing it very soon.

The eShop now lists the game for August 18 in North America. When it’s ready, it will cost $9.99.

We’ve attached an overview and some screenshots from the eShop listing below.

A robot, a poncho and a journey of discovery! Make your way through this world of pixelated parallax platforming to solve the ultimate puzzle: who is Poncho?

The world is ruined; mankind is gone and all that remains are robots. But for Poncho, the adventure is just beginning! Explore an open world full of colorful characters, leaping between parallax layers to overcome obstacles and solve puzzles. Can you make it to the Red Tower, meet your Maker and ultimately save humanity?

A 2D world with 3D thinking! Use brains as well as platforming skill, moving back and forth through Poncho’s world as well as left and right to progress.

Discover new challenges around every corner: platforms that move when you do, areas that switch from 3D to 2D and back again, shifting walls, seemingly impossible ascents and much more!

Gorgeous pixel graphics mix with clever gameplay and a catchy soundtrack to create a retro-style experience that’s truly unique!
