[Weekly Screenshot] Affordable Space Adventures #5
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Screenshots, Weekly Screenshot, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Affordable Space Adventures’ launch is just on the horizon. We’ll be seeing the game on April 9, but KnapNok Games has shared with us another screenshot from the title to tide you over until then.
View the new image above. We also have an official description of the action below.
Not all the dangers of space come from artifacts trying to detect and destroy you. Sometimes peril comes from things far more organic, like these dark plants which will reach out to you in an attempt to wrap themselves around your ship, drag you over to their base and… And that’s pretty much it. What these plants do to you afterwards is a mystery, but certainly nothing good. So stay away from them as much as possible. Or… perhaps you have something that might scare them off?

Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
psyscrolr is launching on the North American Wii U eShop next week, and it will be fairly inexpensive. The game will set you back just $3.99.
Here’s the official overview:
psyscrolr is a unique platformer with Wii U GamePad Touch Screen elements. In this title, you will play the Scrolr, a boy who has inherited a presence from another world, which gives him psychic powers that he neither wanted nor dreamed of. In the game, you will be helped by the voice of his powers in his head, narrating what is happening as well as assisting in combat. Utilize new mechanics to pull, push, and destroy any obstacle in your way. Enjoy a hub-based layout where you can replay the levels with no penalty for death!
Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures still planned for 3DS
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News, Wii U eShop | 0 comments
Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures is finally coming to the North American Wii U eShop this coming Thursday. But what about 3DS? Thankfully, we can say with certainty that the game is still planned for the portable as well.
Developer FreakZone Games informed me on Twitter:
@NE_Brian Yessir! Not long!
— FreakZone Games (@FreakZoneGames) March 27, 2015
I also inquired about the possibility of cross-buy support between the Wii U and 3DS versions of Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures. FreakZone sounds hopeful in making that happen!
@NE_Brian I don't know yet, but I hope so.

Color Bombs will be RCMADIAX’s last Wii U game
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 2 Comments
RCMADIAX announced on Twitter today that Color Bombs will be the developer’s final title for Wii U.
“I’ll still be making games, but will be moving to a one or two game per year cycle to focus more on quality,” RCMADIAX said on Twitter. “Re-branding and trying to get rid of the ‘cheap trash game’ stigma that I have now been pegged with since Spikey Walls. I still plan to support the WiiU eShop with promotions, updates, etc. But sadly I had to stop production on some projects.”
Super Robo Mouse, which was one of the earliest Wii U titles RCMADIAX revealed for the eShop, is no longer planned for the system. The studio pointed to several reasons for this, including the fact that “The game’s later levels have really suffered in terms of performance.” Creator Michael Aschenbrenner explained, “I tried optimizing, but it meant I had to remove things.”
You can find a roundup of RCMADIAX’s tweets below.
