During a recent episode of the Game Informer Show, Toys For Bob producer Peter Kavic and art director Josh Nadelberg participated in an interview for Spyro Reignited Trilogy. The two were asked if it’ll be appearing on other systems, to which Kavic said the team’s “focus was on PS4 and Xbox One.” When specifically asked about Switch and if it could run on the platform, Kavic indicated that he’s “yet to even see it tried.”

German retailer MediaMarkt has listed Assassin’s Creed Compilation for Switch as well as other platforms. The page includes a tentative March 29 release date. No further information is provided, including which titles would potentially be included.

Unlike retailers that have a reputation for accuracy such as Amazon or GameFly, we can’t be certain that the Assassin’s Creed Compilation listing is spot on. For now, we advise taking it with a grain of salt. If Ubisoft makes any announcements in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Nintendo Switch

After a fairly quiet past week for Nintendo maintenance, things are picking up in a big way over the next few days. Starting today, several different sessions are planned that will impact 3DS, the Nintendo Switch Parental Controls app, and Switch itself.

The current schedule is as follows:

Katamari Damacy Reroll

Katamari Damacy Reroll will only be released on Switch digitally in Europe, Bandai Namco recently confirmed to Nintendo Everything. That means a physical version will not be offered in the region and it will only be sold on the eShop.

In North America, the situation is slightly different. Katamari Damacy Reroll will be sold physically, but only at one retailer. GameStop has the exclusivity on that one.

Japan seems to be where Katamari Damacy Reroll is receiving the best treatment. It will be sold at most retailers without any exclusivity, and digital will still be an option.

The team behind NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 won’t be abandoning the game anytime soon. As relayed by lead producer Tobias Heussner, the team has a lot of additions lined up for the future.

Heussner said, “we’re planning to add some existing features to the game as well as more playgrounds as we did with the Halloween DLC. Also, more NBA players will be made available to our community. A lot more DLC is coming!”
