Nintendo has just announced a new major sales milestone for Switch.

According to the company’s own internal sales figures, since launching about ten months ago, the console has sold over 4.8 million units in the United States. That means it is now the fastest-selling home gaming system of all time in the country. The previous record holder was Wii, which sold over 4 million units during the same timeframe.

In honor of the 10th anniversary of the Valkyria Chronicles series, a special collector’s edition is being released in Japan. It will cost 12,990 yen, which translates to about $115.

At the moment, it’s unknown whether regions outside Japan will be getting access to the collector’s edition. Here’s hoping.

It wasn’t too long ago that Nintendo announced a soundtrack release for Super Mario Odyssey, though only in Japan. Play-Asia is taking reservations here.

The Super Mario Odyssey soundtrack has 136 tracks spread across four discs. It also comes with two original stickers and a luxury booklet featuring developer commentary (in Japanese), Pauline setting documents, and more.

You can pick up the soundtrack starting on February 28.

In North America, the only way to nab the Neon Pink / Neon Green Joy-Con is by purchasing the Splatoon 2 Switch bundle. That could be changing soon.

EB Games Canada’s internal inventory system is listing a standalone release of the Neon Pink / Neon Green Joy-Con for January 5. It’ll be priced at $99.99 ($79.99 USD), the same as other Joy-Con. Technically this date isn’t officially confirmed, so we’ll let you know if anything changes.

1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
2. Super Mario Odyssey
3. Zelda: Breath of the Wild
4. 1-2 Switch
5. Splatoon 2

One interesting fact: the top three games have all sold over 300,000 copies. Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle also just missed out on reaching the top five. FIFA 18 apparently places at #7. Additionally, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe just managed to outsell Super Mario Odyssey.
