Detective Pikachu Returns dev explains long wait for the game

To say that we’ve been waiting a long time for Detective Pikachu Returns would be an understatement. After it was first teased in 2019, it was finally revealed this year.
Director Yasunori Yanagisawa spoke about the wait in an interview with IGN. Yanagisawa explained that the project took roughly five years overall, and moving from Switch to 3DS allowed for many more possibilities.

Another Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 character reveal is in, and it’s been confirmed that Ember from Danny Phantom will be on the roster.
Ember, a music-based character, has far-reaching attacks based on her guitar-shredding abilities. The team has also implemented a “Cheer” mechanic in which successful attacks fill up a meter. This provides her with increased attack power and additional perks.
Hot Lap Racing announced for Switch

Today, publisher Hot Lap Racing and developer Zero Games Studio announced Hot Lap Racing. The title is slated for 2024 on Switch.
Hot Lap Racing is officially described as a “simcade” racing game with a Career Mode, support for online and offline multiplayer, and more. Further details can be found in the following overview:

Transformers: Earthspark – Expedition release date set for October, new trailer

A final release date has come in for Transformers: Earthspark – Expedition. Today, Outright Games announced that the title will head to Switch on October 13, 2023.
Transformers: Earthspark – Expedition, an action game based on the animated series, was previously revealed in June. We only had a vague 2023 launch window at the time.

Let’s Sing is back once again with a new entry this year, appropriately named Let’s Sing 2024. It’ll be on Switch later in 2023.
Let’s Sing 2024 is another karaoke title with current smash hits, all-time classics, and modern chart toppers you can sing along to, by yourself or with friends. Additionally, this year’s release will offer new features and game modes such as the brand-new career mode.

DNF Duel reveals Brawler as new DLC character

Original (8/30): Brawler will be joining DNF Duel as a new DLC character. Nexon, Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting shared the news in a new trailer today.

Original: A new report from Eurogamer claims that during Gamescom 2023 last month, Nintendo showed Switch 2 to developers behind closed doors.
We previously reported that the company would be returning to the expo for the first time in years. Fans could play games such as Pikmin 4 on the show floor, but the more interesting action was happening behind closed doors.

Wild Card Football announced for Switch

Original (6/29): EA has yet to bring the Madden NFL series to Switch, but Saber Interactive is looking to fill the gap with its brand new game Wild Card Football. It’ll be ready to go on October 10, 2023.
The title, which is a part of Saber’s “Playgrounds” series”, comes in partnership with the NFL Players Association and OneTeam Partners. Players can create their dream team in the arcade-action game, which features a massive roster of pro football superstars and legends, including Colin Kaepernick, T.J. Watt, Jalen Hurts, and more.
