Sonic Colors: Ultimate has received an update on Switch, with players now being able to download version 1.0.6. Note that SEGA is officially calling it version 2.6 (and may appear as such on other platforms).

What the Golf? “A Hole New World” update out now on Switch, patch notes

A new, free update has just come to What the Golf? on Switch in the form of “A Whole New World”.
Players can access a bunch of additional content. It contains over 50 levels “that still aren’t golf”, 1,000 holes, and apparently hotdog cannons.

UK software sales – November 21, 2021 – Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl have biggest Switch launch of 2021

This week’s UK software sales are in, and Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are off to a strong start. The two games placed at #1 and #2 respectively. The double pack also made the top ten.
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Pokemon Shining Pearl are now the biggest launches on Switch of 2021 having toppled Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury. Brilliant Diamond actually managed to do that by itself.
Atelier Sophie 2 trailer introduces Plachta

A new trailer is in for Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream that focuses on Plachta. The character is voiced by Yuka Iguchi.

Arkanoid: Eternal Battle announced

Microids is teaming up with Taito on a new project, with the two sides today announcing Arkanoid: Eternal Battle. French studio Pastagames, whose previous work includes the likes of Rayman Legends, Pang Adventures and Pix the Cat, is handling development.
Arkanoid: Eternal Battle is a new take on the classic arcade block breaker game. It’ll come with a variety of solo and multiplayer mode, and Microids has teased the return of classic elements along with “new effects, bonuses, and features guaranteed to take veteran players by surprise”.

A new trailer for Touken Ranbu Warriors has been shared by DMM Games, Nitroplus, Omega Force, and Ruby Party. While the last trailer showed off Kasen Kanesada, this latest one offers a new look at Omokage, voiced by Takuma Terashima.

Here we are, almost at the end of the year. The holidays are fast approaching and many are considering buying a Switch. With that in mind, I decided to produce a video discussing five reasons to buy the system – but also five reasons why it may not be for everyone. My idea here is to give a general look at the console, leaving you to ultimately decide if you feel it’s worth picking up or not.
The majority of you who follow the site likely already own a Switch and these reasons may not be important to you. However, I think the video can still be interesting as a “review” of my experience with the console since launch. You can check it out in full below.
