Bethesda surprised fans last week by re-releasing Doom, Doom II, and Doom 3 on the latest consoles, including Switch. Digital Foundry has now examined the ports in greater detail, which are a bit of a mixed bag.

Doom and Doom II, which were handled by Nerve Software, suffer the most. These ports have uneven pixels, incorrect aspect ratio, jutter due to uneven frame persistence, overly bright lighting, and issues with music playback speed and poor sound effect playback.

NIS America has prepared a new “A Guide to Odd Times” trailer for Destiny Connect: Tick-Tock Travelers, its Switch RPG. We’ve included it below.

Destiny Connect launches for Switch on October 22 in North America and October 25 in Europe.

Marvelous has gone live with a new Satelight-made “Order Zero” prologue animation for its Switch exclusive Daemon X Machina. In it, we’re able to get a look at what transpired before the start of the actual game.

Here’s the video:

Those who pre-load Daemon X Machina can receive the Prototype Arsenal and Prototype Plugsuit, which were featured in the Order Zero animation.
