DuneWorld Games has announced Over My Dead Body (For You), a puzzle title in development for Wii U via the eShop.

In the game, players control a ghost as well as a zombie as they navigate through levels filled with puzzles and enemies. You’ll need to “sneak past guards, possess your former co-workers, and take in an all-you-can-eat adventure”. DuneWorld is including 20 levels, challenge modes, and more.

Over My Dead Body (For You) is tentatively targeted for October with a $9.99 price point. We have the announcement trailer below.

Update (7/4): Bumped to the top. Petite Games has now shared a few screenshots from Laser Blaster:

Original (6/19): Petite Games is continuing its string of Wii U releases with Laser Blaster. Sometime this summer, it’ll be heading to the eShop. Actual details have not been made known just yet, but information is “coming soon”.

On Miiverse, Nostatic Software mentioned that an update is planned for PixelMaker. Users will have access to more options for inserting text into images, such as additional fonts, configurable text, and the ability to outline text.

Here’s the notice from Miiverse:

A release date for the update wasn’t mentioned, but it should be coming soon.

Red Column has determined that 3Souls – Episode 1: Nelesa will release in Europe on July 28. North America will follow “a few weeks later”.

The first episode will be priced at €3.60 / £3.20 / $3.90. Additional episodes (2 and 3) will have lower prices.

3Souls makes use of the GamePad for gameplay, and a co-op mode incorporates the use of a Wii Remote or Wii U Pro Controller.

WizByte Games, developer of the Wii U eShop game Vector Assault, has announced Chroma Blast as its next project. Based on the debut trailer, it’s about shooting objects, staying alive, and racking up high scores.

Chroma Blast will be available in North America on July 14 for $1.49. A European date will be announced later.

Dracula’s Legacy joins the lineup of titles set to hit the European Wii U eShop on July 14. The game’s release is confirmed through a listing on the store, which has a €7.99 price point.

Here’s an overview of Dracula’s Legacy:

Haunted by frightening dreams about her forgotten past, Isabella, along with her fiancé, were able to decipher one clue from the depths of her memory that leads them to an old ghost town. While exploring, they encounter a terrifying creature and the pair are separated. Help Isabella traverse dungeons inhabited by deadly vampires to reach the city of lost souls and rescue her fiancé!

Back in February, Heart Machine said that the Wii U version of Hyper Light Drifter was “in limbo”. It seemed like the game could end up being cancelled on Nintendo’s console, but there’s now a bit of encouraging news to report. In a Kickstarter update posted last week, Heart Machine said of Hyper Light Drifter on Wii U: “We are finalizing last details on this port by next month, and will have more info then.”

That definitely sounds promising, though we don’t have confirmation on the situation just yet. Regardless of what happens, we’ll let you know.
