Another addition to the Pokemon Build-A-Bear line was just made available with Riolu.

The plushie can be purchased online now – we assume that it will make its way to stores in the near future. For now though, only an online bundle is being offered, which is Riolu itself, a hoodie, and a 5-in-1 sound chip.

Stardew Valley players on Nintendo Switch can now download the game’s latest update, version 1.6.9.37.

This one is all about bug fixes. The game previously received a major content update earlier in the month, and ConcernedApe is addressing some issues stemming from that.

VGP – or VideoGamesPlus – has started to make more noise in the video game space over the past few years. While the Canadian retailer has been selling games for awhile, it’s also now become known for restocks of physical releases on Switch. Titles that were generally sold out elsewhere or are hard to come by have been returning at VGP on a regular basis.

Going forward, we’ll be using this post to keep track of Switch physical release reprint / restock updates at VGP. Note that while the retailer is based in Canada, shipping is available in various regions including the United States and the UK. Also, keep in mind that some restocks sell out quickly so you may want to make a move sooner rather than later if you’re interested in a particular game.

A regulatory filing in Japan shows that the PIF has pulled back to 7.54 percent. Previously, the stake was at 8.58 percent.

While Xbox did this previously, 2024 marked the year when the company made its biggest push yet regarding releasing its games on other platforms. Nintendo Switch benefited from the approach in the form of Grounded and Pentiment on the console.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has now briefly weighed in on Microsoft’s approach going forward. In an interview with Bloomberg, while discussing bringing more games to Nintendo and PlayStation, he said that there are no “red lines in our portfolio that say ‘thou must not.'” He added that no decisions have been made about the next Halo given how early in development that game is.

It’s been a few years since we first reported on Loco Motive, but the game just received a release date. Chucklefish and Robust Games will have it ready to go for Nintendo Switch on November 21, 2024.

Loco Motive, a point-and-click comedy adventure, was originally revealed for the platform at the very end of 2021. You may remember that it was planned for the following summer – but it’s clear that much more development time was needed.

After the patch started to make its way out yesterday, the new 1.112 update for GTA Trilogy (technically called Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition) is live on Nintendo Switch. We can confirm that all three games in the collection have been spruced up on the console.

Rockstar has shared its official patch notes, which note various fixes and improvements. Also, probably the biggest thing here is the lighting. Players can now select Classic Lighting mode to more closely emulate the look of the original games.
