After being delayed from its previously scheduled October release, Chef Life: A Restaurant Simulator has arrived today on Switch, and thirty minutes of gameplay footage have emerged for those interested in seeing what the title has to offer. The game was produced in collaboration with the official Michelin Guide, and aims to be a realistic simulator that recreates the real life of an everyday restaurateur as closely as possible.

The original Octopath Traveler inspired me to create a now sprawling fan group on social media, one that morphed over into a Switch RPG community when the original game’s fire finally died down. Personally, I loved the unique art style the most – beautiful 3D backgrounds and windswept plains, icy tundras and winding cities each punctuated with cute 2D sprites that felt alive in this strangely unique world. Octopath Traveler II is much of the same, but does this entry simply continue with the formula of the first one, or are the changes enough to keep one immersed more than its predecessor?

Limited Run Games is expanding its lineup of physical titles on Switch once again, this time for Ocean’s Heart. Only a standard version is planned.

Following a stint in Early Access, Backback Hero is about to receive its full launch and we now have more information about launch timing. It’s been announced that the inventory management roguelike is slated for May 2023.

A “Town” feature is something that fans have been asking for, and this will now be added to the game. This promises “a rewarding progression path for you to expand your item pool and unlock new heroes.” Further mentioned is that “you will transfer your organizational skills from your backpack to the streets to construct a perfect town with the resources you gather on your adventures.”

Outright Games shared a new trailer for Peppa Pig: World Adventures today that provides a first look at gameplay.
