Mario Strikers: Battle League – developed by Next Level Games – brings back the classic soccer (or football) gameplay the series is known for, but with an edgy twist. Players can tackle enemies, use items, perform special shots, and more. The game supports customization in which characters can change their stats and appearance, local and online play, and the ability to participate and compete in clubs through the internet.

New data from the NPD Group has revealed the top 10 most played games of Q1 2022 in the United States.

Many of the titles are comprised of very popular IPs and releases that receive constant updates. We see a number of familiar faces here between the likes of Minecraft, Fortnite, Among Us, and more.

Fangamer has revealed that it’s preparing a physical version of Slime Rancher: Plortable Edition for Switch.

Each copy contains a foldable map, souvenir ticket, and vinyl sticker. The package features front and inside cover artwork by Aimee Cairns and vinyl sticker artwork by Carissa Cornelius.

Square Enix has shared new information about Season 2 for Chocobo GP, which features Chip and Kwackeys as new characters, the Balamb Garden track, and more.

Information first started to emerge earlier today thanks to the version 1.1.0 update patch notes that were shared. However, Square Enix has now followed up with details specifically about Season 2 content.

Here’s the full rundown: 

It’s been a long time coming, but Temtem finally has a release date on Switch. Following a previous stint in Early Access, the game will be available for Nintendo’s console on September 6, 2022.

New features are planned for Temtem to coincide with its primary launch. After the launch of version 1.0, players can look forward to seasonal updates and a Battle Pass with free and premium awards tracks. Also planned is the final island, completing the Airborne Archipelago, and offering new activities through which you can test yourself as a Temtem tamer, new places to shop, and new areas to explore with friends. Finally, there’ll be weekly quests that will be updated regularly post-launch.

Koei Tecmo has readied a new trailer for Touken Ranbu Warriors. The game makes its debut in the west today, and the company is celebrating with a final look at the hack-and-slash title.

Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Alkemi have readied a gameplay trailer for Foretales, their narrative-driven card game.

The project was originally confirmed for Switch back in March. While we did have a trailer at the time, today’s video provides a proper look at the game in action.
