SEGA uploaded a new trailer for Sonic Colors: Ultimate today that highlights the game’s various Wisps. Take a look at the video below.

Sonic Colors: Ultimate is scheduled for September 7 on Switch. More information can be found here.

Earlier this year, a calculator app released on the Switch eShop. If that didn’t excite you, perhaps Battle Calculator will.

Battle Calculator is described as “a game that is fun to play together and uses your brain a little.” It also functions as a regular calculator.

Focus Home Interactive today announced that it has acquired Dotemu. The deal should be fully closed in September.

According to today’s announcement, “Dotemu will be able to give even greater ambition to its projects and give itself the means to broaden the range of services offered to studios, in order to guarantee the success of their productions on the retro label as well as on the publishing label The Arcade Crew.”

Dotemu has published a number of games on Switch, including Streets of Rage 4, Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap, and Ys Origin. It is also involved with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Windjammers 2.

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are delaying the launch of Evil Dead: The Game. It’s now planned for February 2022, the companies announced today.

The team intends to use the extra time to include a single-player option “that will let you enjoy the game when you are without your co-op compadres.”

Untold Tales and Demagog Studio have shared an update on Golf Club: Wasteland, with the game receiving a final release date today. It’s been announced that the title is expected on September 3.

Golf Club: Wasteland was previously planned for August. However, it did not have an actual date at the time.

Today’s financial report from Nintendo has brought along a couple of notable sales milestones.

First up, Switch has shipped more than 89 million units, which means it’s now the seventh best-selling console of all time. It has outsold the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, which ended their runs at 87.4 million and 86 million units respectively.

Nintendo also reached the mark of having sold over 800 million pieces of consoles / handhelds. This includes standalone devices such as Switch, Wii, and DS, but not the likes of Game & Watch and plug & play retro consoles.
