In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for May 2024.

In its first appearance, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door tops the chart. Stardew Valley, the previous #1, slips to the second slot.

It’s not often that we get a launch trailer for the game more than a week in advance, but one just dropped for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The RPG won’t be available until the end of next week, though you can check it out once again in video form.

Arc System Works today announced that it’s putting out the Double Dragon Collection in the west – which will include a special collector’s edition. It’s not too far away, and we already have a release date of June 14, 2024.

Double Dragon Collection previously came to Switch in Japan last year. It includes Double Dragon, Double Dragon II: The Revenge, Double Dragon III: Sacred Stones, Super Double Dragon, Double Dragon Advance, and Double Dragon IV.

Here’s some additional information:

Odencat – the studio behind Bear’s Breakfast, Fishing Paradiso, and Meg’s Monster – just confirmed that it will be releasing its new game Mousebusters on Switch. Expect it to debut later in 2024.

Mousebusters is an action adventure game with pixel art graphics. Players will explore a haunted apartment building to save its cute and quirky residents from their inner demons.

Today, RedDeerGames announced its latest Switch title, Cook For Love. The title is launching on the system later in 2024.

Cook For Love is a cozy cooking game full of recipes and step-by-step preparation instructions. There’s a story here too – you’ll play as Clement, a young Frenchman, who joins a popular Parisian restaurant and hopes to become worthy of working onboard the Orient Express.

Publisher PM Studios and developer Studio Kumiho have confirmed Cricket: Jae’s Really Peculiar Game for consoles, including Switch. It arrives on August 15, 2024.

Cricket: Jae’s Really Peculiar Game is an upcoming turn-based RPG adventure with a hand-drawn animation style. You’ll take on the role of Jae who goes on a journey with his friends to try and fix the past.

April 17: Thunderful is making SteamWorld Heist II, the company just announced. A release is planned for August 8, 2024 on Switch.

SteamWorld Heist first appeared on 3DS in 2015 and Wii U the following year. A Switch version debuted at the end of 2017.

As for SteamWorld Heist II, here’s the first details:

No More Heroes creator Suda51 was recently asked if Travis Touchdown, the series’ star, could return in the future. As of now it doesn’t sound like an easy question for him to answer.

Eurogamer asked the well-known developer about the future of the character. Suda51 responded by saying that he’s unsure, especially given how Marvelous owns the rights to the No More Heroes franchise. Grasshopper Manufacture developed the different games in the series, but that was thanks to Marvelous being on board.

Today, publisher confirmed that Magical Delicacy will be released on Switch. It’s due out on July 16, 2024.

Magical Delicacy is a Metroidvania-lite meets cooking game from solo-developer sKaule. The wholesome adventure title, which features pixel art graphics, has players taking on the role of Flora who’s looking to become a fully-fledged witch and ends up in Grat, a town that isn’t as simple as it seems.

It turns out that Glumberland isn’t finished with Ooblets as the developer just readied a new Spring 2024 update for the game.

New spring event rewards are included. Additionally, the patch brings along quality of life improvements such as the ability to sort inventory and containers.
