During an interview with Geoff Keighley as part of Summer Games Fest, Studio MDHR shared an update on Cuphead’s The Delicious Last Course DLC.

COO Maja Moldenhauer mentioned that 2020 “just threw everyone for a loop, and we’re still working on it.” The DLC is “taking us a little longer than we thought, but we want to make it a memorable experience,” she said.

Moldenhauer also teased that The Delicious Last Course will have “some of our most detailed and complex animations that we’ve ever done.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios today revealed the first of three upcoming character skin packs for Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. With the Summer Heat Skin Pack, players will gain access to Kitana dressed in seasonal Edenian attire as “Endless Summer Kitana,” Baraka prepping his barbecue as “Off the Bone Baraka,” and Erron Black donning a red, white, and blue patriotic suit and top hat as “Fireworks Erron Black.”

The first skin pack launches August 6 for all Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath owners. The Klassic Femme Fatale Skin Pack follows on August 25, and the All Hallows’ Eve Skin Pack drops on October 8. The next packs will also include three new character skins each. More information will be announced at a later date.

Lion Castle and GS2 Games today announced Speed 3: Grand Prix, a new action-packed arcade track racing game. It will launch for Switch at the end of 2020.

nWay has announced that a collector’s edition for Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid will be distributed at retail in October. It’ll include the never-been-released new character, Lauren Shiba. Those that pre-order the game can receive two copies of the Green Ranger V2 skin (players will get one for themselves and one for a friend).

Nintendo has put out a new Japanese Animal Crossing: New Horizons commercial, which promotes the new fireworks event in the game. Check it out below.

Nintendo has detailed the second part of Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ summer update.

The first part of the update will add fireworks shows, which take place each Sunday. A dreams feature will also be made available in which you can visit other islands, though nothing there is permanent. And most significantly of all, players will finally be able to back up their save data if they’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, though you’ll have to go through Nintendo customer service to recover anything that’s lost. Nintendo is working on a function to move users and save data to another system, which will launch later in 2020.
