With a bit over a week to go, the Kickstarter campaign for The Wonderful 101: Remastered has reached another one of its stretch goals: with the campaign surpassing $1.75 million in funding, the game will now receive a remix soundtrack featuring “a special guest”.
Another soundtrack-related stretch goal has been added to the campaign: should a total of $2.25 million be reached, two of the game’s most iconic tracks, “The Won-Stoppable Wonderful 100” and “Tables Turn” will be re-recorded with a full orchestra. The next stretch goal, however, is Luka’s Second Mission at $2 million.
Version 1.60 of Samurai Shodown is now available. Most importantly, this update adds the DLC character Mina Majikina to the game. Here’s the full list of changes:
- A new DLC character (MINA MAJIKINA) was added.
- Fixed other minor issues and features.
- Galford Machine Gun Dog – Resolved an issue where under certain conditions, KOing an opponent while they’re being hit with Galford’s Machine Gun Dog attack resulted in standing instead of falling over.
Last week, Milestone announced MotoGP 20 for Nintendo Switch. Today, a listing for the physical version of the game popped up at an Australian games shop – and it appears that the physical version won’t actually include a cartridge, but instead it’ll just be a download code for the digital version in the box. MotoGP 20 isn’t the first game to do this, as several third-party games on the system chose this option for their physical release.
The Pokemon Company released a new trailer for Pokemon Masters, showing off the latest addition to the roster: Sygna Suit Red & Charizard. The sync pair will be available via a Poke Fair-exclusive Spotlight Scout starting tomorrow.
Also, since today is Pokemon Day, the anniversary of the franchise, 3,000 gems have been distributed to all players.
This April, PlatinumGames is opening a new development hub in Tokyo. Here’s an excerpt from their website explaining about the decision:
Building Development Power through our Capital Alliance
In December 2019, PlatinumGames entered into a capital alliance with Tencent Holdings. This allowed us to start work on Project G.G., our first entirely original IP, in earnest. It also contributed to our decision to establish PlatinumGames Tokyo – a pillar of our new commitment to building our power as a developer. Between our Osaka office and PlatinumGames Tokyo, we’re poised to make use of the sharpest creative minds in games in both west and east Japan, and expand to even greater possibilities.
