Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour started distribution of its latest update, version 1.0.2.
Unfortunately, Nintendo is keeping quiet on most of the specifics. The company says that it’s fixed some issues, but doesn’t explain what’s been touched up.

It’s that time once again: a new Nintendo release comes with the latest set of icons on Switch Online, this time for Donkey Kong Bananza.
The first set is now available, lasting until July 23. Nintendo Switch Online members can spend their Platinum Points on various icons on a weekly basis. New icons will go up every Wednesday (Thursday for those in Europe) until August 13 at 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET.
Nintendo just issued the latest Super Mario Party Jamboree update via version 2.1.0.
The big thing is that compatibility is now included with the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. As part of that, there are some specific bugs that have been fixed for the new version, including one that was game-breaking.

SEGA shared a bit of additional information about Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds for Nintendo Switch 2 today, including confirmation that the game will contain the entire experience on its cartridge.
This is one of the rare titles on the console to be doing this. Thus far, most third-party publishers have opted to use game-key cards. This has drawn ire from fans as they’re not truly physical – you’re basically getting a blank cartridge as the game needs to be downloaded from the internet.
EA Sports officially introduced FC 26 today – and for the first time, it’s appearing on Nintendo Switch 2.

SEGA put out the latest Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds trailer today spotlighting the game’s customization and gadget features.
The racer will have 40+ vehicles, 70+ gadgets, and 100+ vehicle parts and decals. In all thousands of combinations will be available for players to customize the ultimate racing machine. It’s possible to mix and match racers and vehicles, vehicle parts, and gadgets to create a customized racing experience.
Art of Play, Boat Rocker Media, and BBC today announced Danger Mouse, a new game for Nintendo Switch based on the British animated television series. A release is planned for 2026.
For the new game, Danger Mouse will be a side-scrolling action experience. Co-op is supported that brings Penfold into the action.
