After it released first in Japan, Sanrio Characters Picross made it to Europe late last month. The game missed out on its planned North American launch, though the delay wasn’t terribly long.

Nintendo’s website indicates that Sanrio Characters Picross is due out stateside this Thursday. Pricing is set at $7.99.

Playdius has announced its lineup for this year’s Gamescom. Featured titles include Away: Journey to the Unexpected, Hover, Old School Musical, Edge of Eternity, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, Chroniric, Spitkiss, and Stay.

tinyBuild has confirmed its presence for PAX West 2018. Furthermore, the company will be hosting a press conference where new game announcements will be made. Four titles will be revealed in total.

PAX West 2018 runs between August 31 and September 3.

This week’s UK software sales are as follows:

We have a quick update on Hungry Shark World, which was released by Ubisoft on the Japanese eShop a short while ago. In both North America and Europe, the game will be releasing tomorrow – July 17.

Octopath Traveler came out at the tail end of last week, where it did pretty well in the UK.

GamesIndustry reports that launch sales for the Switch RPG are nearly double that of Bravely Default. Sales more than doubled the sequel, Bravely Second.

Hungry Shark World was rated for Switch in South Korea a couple of months ago. Now without any prior notice, the game has launched on the Japanese eShop.

Circle Entertainment has announced a partnership with 4D Door Games to bring WILL: A Wonderful World to Switch. We’ll be seeing it on the eShop later this year.

WILL: A Wonderful World is a story-driven puzzle game. By viewing and altering letters, you can impact the tale and influence characters as a “god”.
