If you’re looking for a free game on Wii U, you may want to give Humanitarian Helicopter a look. It’s currently showing as free on the North American eShop. You can claim it from Nintendo’s website here.

Note that you won’t get any Gold Points on My Nintendo with this one, even though it was originally $10. Nintendo may have cleared up the “glitch” where points were being given out when games were being made available for free.

Thanks to Vinicius for the tip.

Nintendo Spotlight: E3 2017 will be hosted on June 13. With the video presentation, we’ll be given a look at Super Mario Odyssey and other upcoming Switch games.

You can set a reminder for the Nintendo Spotlight by adding the event to your calendar through the official website. When doing so, Nintendo fills in an hour-long slot. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean that the presentation will last an hour since calendars tend to work with 30-minute increments. You can at least expect it to be 30 minutes long.

For reference, Nintendo’s E3 2015 presentation was just over 48 minutes. The 2014 edition was about 47 minutes.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 had already been confirmed for this fall on Switch in both North America and Japan. Today, Bandai Namco confirmed the same release window for Europe as well, as expected.

Along with today’s news, a bunch of screenshots were sent out showing Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on Switch. View the full set below.

The release of Magikarp Jump, the latest Pokemon mobile spin-off, has been weird, to say the least. After its initial reveal, there had been near-total radio silence on the game – until the game was suddenly released last week, but only on Italian mobile storefronts, for some reason. It seems like the game’s international roll-out is now slowly picking up steam. The game will be released on Japanese Google Play and iOS stores tomorrow, May 23rd. Releases in other countries haven’t been confirmed yet, though it likely won’t be too much longer until the game is out in most major countries.

The official Splatoon 2 Twitter account has given us another look at the infamous unicycle-riding Octarian that first appeared in the recent trailer. Judging by these new screenshots, it seems like he can use his giant Roller in a variety of ways – he can swing it like a sword or use it like a steamroller to chase after you. The Twitter post doesn’t confirm this, but the fact that you’re fighting him in a circular arena seems to suggest that he will be one of the bosses in Hero Mode, or at the very least a mini boss. His Japanese name could roughly be translated as “octopus samurai”.
