Nintendo of Europe had some news for Yo-Kai Watch fans today: first of all, a Yo-Kai Watch 2DS bundle will be released on October 7th. The bundle contains a blue Nintendo 2DS pre-installed with Yo-Kai Watch.

Also, Nintendo confirmed that both versions of Yo-Kai Watch 2, Fleshy Souls and Bony Spirits will arrive in Europe in Spring 2017. As with the first game, other regions will get to play the game several months earlier, so European Yo-Kai Watch fans will once again need to be patient.

Nintendo brought the 2DS to Japan earlier this year as a means of promoting the re-release of the Pokemon classics: Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green. They’ve been on sale as limited items since, and now their production is ending. As they’re the only 2DS systems available, the system as a whole won’t be sold any longer in Japan.

Nintendo is launching a pair of transparent 2DS systems in Europe tomorrow. It appears that there are plans to bring the same handheld to North America, but only in blue.

A leaked ad from Target confirms that the “2DS Crystal” will be available on November 16. You’ll be able to purchase it on release day for $100 ($30 in savings).

Although an official announcement about the new 2DS variation has yet to be made for North America, we’ll probably hear something within the next few days.
