In its latest financial report, Bandai Namco had a quick word about Switch. The company stated that for the system, which is becoming popular worldwide, it is developing multiple original titles that will be released starting from this summer.

Bandai Namco has actually been quite busy on Switch this month having already launched Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 – Deluxe Edition. Little Nightmares: Complete Edition is also slated for next week. Dark Souls: Remastered was scheduled for the end of the month on Switch, but has since been pushed back to a vague summer window.

To celebrate the release of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition on Switch, Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer. We’ve attached it below.

Three new characters have been revealed for My Hero: One’s Justice. Fumikage Tokoyami, Kyoka Jiro, and Eijiro Kirishima will all be playable, according to the magazine.

When in his hardened state, his Eijiro Kirishima can attack while not facing blowbacks from the enemy’s attacks, but his HP will decrease.

Those who purchase My Hero: One’s Justice in Japan will receive two RP Cards for the arcade game My Hero Academia Gekitotsu! Heroes Battle Plus Ultra!!! along with another color for Bakugo, accessory, title, and victory voice for use in the game.

Tiago Sonobe worked at Bandai Namco between April 2014 and August 2016 as a software engineer and graphics programmer. That same month, he moved over to Nintendo – also as a software engineer.

Sonobe’s work history is notable due to an apparent tweet which has now been deleted (and his account as well). In his message, Sonobe mentions that he left Bandai Namco before the production on Smash Bros. Switch started. However, he further says he created the rendering engine it’s built on.

Little Nightmares: Complete Edition - Nintendo Switch

Bandai Namco has shared more details about Little Nightmares: Complete Edition for Switch, including tech specs.

The company says that the game is “hand-tailored” for the system. It’ll have “a 720p (upscale) resolution and 30FPS for the Handheld mode and a 720p (native) 30 FPS for the TV mode.”
