More footage has emerged from the Switch version of Wolfenstein II. Take a look at 19 minutes of gameplay below.

Back in February, Bethesda and Panic Button updated the Switch version of Doom. One of the highlights was an additional control scheme, allowing players to take advantage of gyro motion aiming.

Wolfenstein II is another first-person shooter Bethesda and Panic Button are bringing to Switch. Fans will be happy to hear that the optional gyro motion aiming will be making a return. Even better, it will be there from the start, so we won’t have to wait for an update to add in the feature.

Here’s the confirmation from Wolfenstein’s Twitter account:

Bethesda is taking a different approach to PAX East this year. Rather than attending the show directly, the company will host a one-day community event called the “Bethesda Gameplay Day” at Laugh Boston.

Various presentations are planned, and a number of games will be playable. This includes Wolfenstein II on Switch, which will make its playable debut.

Bethesda Gameplay Day will take place on Saturday, April 7 between 1:30 and 9:00 PM ET.

Bethesda has indicated that the company wants to support Switch in the long term. We may have an understanding of just how true that is come June.

The Bethesda E3 2018 Showcase, announced today, will take place on June 10 at 6:30 PM PT / 9:30 PM ET. Further details on the event will be sent out at a later date. For now, we primarily have the announcement video below.

Will Wolfenstein II be out on Switch before E3? If not, will the game be showcased during the presentation? How much of the news will be Nintendo-related? We’ll find out in about three months.

Last week, Bethesda and Panic Button dropped a new patch for Doom on Switch. Version 1.1.1 added motion aiming, improved performance, and more. Digital Foundry has now taken a new look at the title to explore the technical changes in greater detail.

In terms of resolution, there is a slight difference. Doom may have a slightly higher resolution in some areas, but the change is small enough where most players won’t be able to detect changes.

A couple of videos have emerged showing off Doom’s new 1.1.1 update, which was published last night. Have a look at some footage below.
