Lots of footage from Monster Hunter X was showcased during Monster Hunter Tokuban 2015 Summer, which Capcom held earlier today. Take a look at a half hour of footage below.

Capcom showed a little over 10 minutes of gameplay from Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX during Monster Hunter Tokuban 2015 Summer earlier today. Watch the recording below.

We haven’t heard much about Monster Hunter Stories since its announcement in April, but that should be changing relatively soon. Capcom confirmed during its Monster Hunter Tokuban 2015 Summer live stream event today that the game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show. The expo will run between September 17 and September 21.

Monster Hunter X is releasing in Japan on November 28, Capcom announced during Monster Hunter Tsudoi 2015 Summer. Reservations will begin on August 1. Pricing is set at 5,800 yen for the retail version and 5,546 yen for the download release.

There are also plans to release a New 3DS XL bundle for Monster Hunter X. This will feature a specially designed system. Pricing is set at 26,000 yen.

Aside from that, Capcom confirmed that two 3DS themes are in the works, and Nargacuga from Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and 3 Ultimate will be returning.

Fans can go hands-on with Monster Hunter X at the Tokyo Game Show in September. Weapon videos will be shown each day between August 1 and 7.

In the latest issue of Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream, The Great Ace Attorney director Shu Takumi and composer Yasumasa Kitagawa were interviewed by the magazine.

One of Nintendo Dream’s questions asks Takumi about what left the greatest impression on him during development. Takumi explains that because he was creating a whole new world, it took more time that he anticipated to create scenarios. He was actually in a hospital for roughly a month while The Great Ace Attorney was being made.

“It was just when we had to decide on a logo in order to announce The Great Ace Attorney, so I checked designs in the hospital,” he said. “Seeing the logo reminds me a bit of the scent in a hospital room (laughs).”

Capcom will be giving those who own Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in Japan a little “something” as a bonus in Monster Hunter X. That’s according to series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, who shared the information with Famitsu.

There’s also something planned for Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village DX. By having save data on your 3DS, you’ll be given something that’s “a little better than from 4 Ultimate,” but only a little.

Capcom isn’t sharing details beyond this at present. These bonuses will be just enough for one to think “that would be nice to have”.

The bulk of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate’s July DLC launched a couple of weeks ago. However, some new content came out today as well. Players can now get their hands on the content stemming from the Universal Studios Japan collaboration. This includes an opportunity to obtain the Star Knight sword and shield.

Capcom have released info on The Great Ace Attorney’s first paid DLC – the first in a series of Randst magazines, which will be free until July 19th. Details are as follows (thanks to Perfectly-Nintendo):

  • The DLC includes a short scene that takes place after the game’s first case
  • It features concept-art and voice clips from Naruhodu Ryuunosuke and Mikotoba Susato
  • A brand new “Court Begins” track is featured
  • A special Court Video from TGS 2014 and a Nintendo 3DS theme are included

The first issue costs 300 yen (after July 19th) or 2000 yen for the whole 8 issues. The next issue is due out next week.
