This is the third set in a four week series of screens. The images can be viewed below.

Mega Man 11

Yesterday, we reported on Capcom’s financial results, including the sales success of the games they released last year. However, they were pretty vague on the actual sales numbers, only stating that, for example, Mega Man 11 “reported strong sales”. Now, thanks to a transcript of a Q&A session that was held after Capcom’s recent financial results briefing, we have concrete numbers for some Mega Man titles.

Mega Man 11 has sold 870,000 copies last year, while Mega Man X Legacy Collection sits at 920,000 copies sold (the Q&A doesn’t make it 100% clear whether this is Legacy Collection 1 or 1+2). Note that these are the sales numbers for all platforms the games launched on, not just Nintendo Switch.

Capcom shared its latest financial results today. For the nine months ended December 31, net sales increased to 61,270 million yen for a 28.3% year-over-year increase. Operating income also saw a 92% boost. Capcom later highlighted that it “achieved the highest profit levels for the end of a third quarter in company history.”

Further on in its report, Capcom spoke about the performance of a few of its games. One of these was Mega Man 11, which had “strong sales”. Onimusha: Warlords, which launched last month, is also “off to a good start”.

During today’s episode of Capcom TV, the first footage of Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen on Switch was shown. We have the full recording below.

Onimusha: Warlords

Onimusha: Warlords is available on Switch today in North America and Europe. Capcom issued a new launch trailer, which we have below.

Nintendo Switch Online, Nintendo’s paid online service, is a requirement to play most Nintendo Switch games online – but not all of them. As it turns out, the recently announced Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be one of them. The Amazon listing for the game states the following:

Online Functionality – The iconic Pawn system comes to Nintendo Switch with online sharing abilities between Nintendo Accounts. (A Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required for online features).

Yesterday, Capcom announced plans to bring Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen to Switch. The company quickly confirmed that it will have a few different physical versions in Japan. Thankfully, the west won’t be entirely left out.

A number of Capcom’s releases as of late have been digital-only overseas. However, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen won’t be one of them. Amazon has opened pre-orders, revealing that there will in fact be a physical copy. You can reserve it here.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen launches April 23 on Switch.

Capcom revealed earlier today that Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is heading to Switch. While a physical version is a bit of a question mark overseas, we have confirmation that a retail copy is planned for Japan.

There will actually be a few different physical versions. A standard copy will set buyers back 3,990 yen. There’s also a 4,990 yen Collector’s Package with a mini soundtrack and a (roughly) 25,000 yen Complete Edition with a pendant.
