Mega Man 11

The Mega Man 11 game Capcom shipped a few weeks ago wasn’t always the original plan for the game. In an interview with producer Kazuhiro Tsuchiya and Rockman Unity’s Ucchi, it’s revealed that something else entirely was planned.

What did Capcom originally have in mind? While we may not have the answer to that now, we may know one day. Tsuchiya says he hopes that the idea he had in mind will “be released in another form eventually”.

Onimusha: Warlords

Capcom has released a new gameplay action trailer for Onimusha: Warlords. Have a look at the video below.

Onimusha: Warlords comes to Switch on January 15.

When Mega Man 11 had its first blowout in Game Informer’s January 2018 issue, fans noticed what looked to be a Mega Man Star Force costume. Now that the game is out, we can say that nothing of the sort was included. Capcom has explained why.

In the Japanese Rockman 11 Production Note book, Capcom states that the costume was actually as a placeholder for Tundra Storm. The blurb notes:

Capcom is taking Mega Man to the big screen. Today, the company announced that its well-known franchise is getting the Hollywood movie treatment.

As of now, the project is simply known as Mega Man. It’ll be written and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, with 20th Century Fox handling distribution. Chernin Entertainment, responsible for the Planet of the Apes series, will be in charge of producing with Masi Oka.
