Nintendo Switch

GameStop reported its latest financial results last week for Q1 2018. The company saw decreases across the board compared to the same period last year, which was largely boosted by Switch’s launch at the time.

There was absolutely no way GameStop could replicate the same sales with Switch this year simply due to the console launching in 2017. However, that doesn’t mean the retailer isn’t seeing a favorable performance with the console.

GameStop is offering a new pre-order bonus for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy. If you reserve the game, you’ll be given a Micro Blocks Crash Figurine – pictured above. It will be provided on release day.

The bonus is available while supplies last, and is eligible for online and in-store orders. You can pre-order here.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy launches June 29.

Pre-orders have opened for a couple of new Switch games announced this week.

First up is NBA 2K19. You can pre-order the NBA 2K19 Anniversary Edition on Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. The standard version is currently up on Best Buy and GameStop.

Reservations are also up for RemiLore, which Nicalis announced for publishing this week. Amazon has it here while GameStop has it here. RemiLore will have the usual Nicalis goodies, including an instruction booklet.

The Dark Souls – Solaire of Astora amiibo can be pre-ordered once again. If you’d like to do so, head on over to GameStop here.

As a reminder, this amiibo is exclusive to GameStop in the United States. It will launch with Dark Souls: Remastered this summer.

Every now then, a slew of untitled SKUs pop up in GameStop’s system. That has happened once again. As spotted within the retailer’s internal system, 10 mystery Switch titles have been listed at GameStop.

Something similar happened roughly a month ago. On May 10, 16 SKUs were spotted. That number has dropped since then, though there have been announcements over the past few weeks that likely took up some of those spots.

A listing on GameStop reveals a new Crash Bandicoot-themed controller. It’s on track for a June 29 release, priced at $24.99.

Here’s additional information and images:

Over the past day or so, a few new games have been announced for Switch. These include Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee, Team Sonic Racing, and LEGO DC Super-Villains.

After these announcements were made, retailers started opening pre-orders. We’ve rounded up the available reservation links below.

Still on the hunt for Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo? If so, you may want to give GameStop’s website a look.

The retailer has restocked a few figures here. You can purchase both versions of Link, Zelda, and the Guardian. No word on how long they’ll be available.

Owlboy Limited Edition

GameStop has started taking pre-orders for the Owlboy Limited Edition. If you’re interested, reserve a copy here.

Only 6,000 units will be produced worldwide. Because of that, this likely won’t last terribly long.

This week, Nicalis announced Crystal Crisis for Switch. The puzzle fighter is slated for this fall.

Following the announcement, retailers have started to take pre-orders. You can currently reserve it on Amazon or GameStop. It’s also on Amazon Canada here.

Nicalis will be publishing the Crystal Crisis Launch Edition. It’ll include a full-color instruction booklet and bonus goodies to be revealed later.
