Outside of today’s new trailer and footage, there are a couple of specific aspects we wanted to highlight from today’s Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity update at TGS Online 2020.

First, young Impa is officially confirmed for this game. This was more or less confirmed based on the first trailer, but now it’s official. She’ll have more than just a cameo though, as Impa will be fully playable. You can see her official art above.

Play-Asia has opened pre-orders for the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Treasure Box. If interested, you can reserve one here. Copies are expected to be very limited.

The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Treasure Box comes with the game, acrylic plate, paraglider blanket, and metal charm.

Note that this is an import; it’s only being made in Japan. No collector’s editions have been announced for other regions. The game will work on any Switch system.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Koei Tecmo will be showing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity during the Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online, the company has confirmed. Live gameplay will be shown, and we’ll also be hearing about things like character introductions. Producers Yosuke Hayashi and Masaki Furusawa as well as director Ryouta Matsushita will be on hand.

The TGS 2020 Online event for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will take place on September 26 between 9 PM and 9:50 PM Japan time.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Japan is getting a Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity collector’s edition in the form of a Treasure Box, Koei Tecmo has announced. Copies will include the game, acrylic plate with the game’s art, paraglider blanket, and metal charm.

The Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Treasure Box launches alongside the main game on November 20. Pricing is set at 16,720 yen. We’ll keep an eye out for import pre-orders.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

Another couple of screenshots have emerged for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity from its Japanese eShop page. While they aren’t anything too major, they do give us a first look at the UI.

The screenshots show features such as character toggling and what the maps will look like.

We won’t have to wait long for more information about the just-revealed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Another news update is planned for September 26, Nintendo and Koei Tecmo have confirmed.

That comes from a trailer of the game. It’s the same video featured in the main announcement presentation, but with a confirmation at the end regarding the next update.

Given the September 26 date, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity will likely be featured during TGS Online 2020.
