New footage of Assault Android Cactus has come in from YouTube user “Assault Android Cactus” Check it out below.

Tasukete Tako-San: Save me Mr Tako is coming to Wii U, but a 3DS version hasn’t been announced thus far. Thanks to the announcement of Unity support for the New 3DS, that could change in the future.

Creator Christophe Galati indicated to Always Nintendo that he is “really hoping” to make Tasukete Tako-San: Save me Mr Tako for 3DS at some point. Wii U was chosen as his main option because “3DS wasn’t a viable option at the time”, though being able to run Unity on Nintendo’s newest handheld would remedy the situation.

Galati’s full words are as follows:

Yeah, when I heard that news I was really happy. The whole reason for choosing to bring Tako to Wii U was because 3DS wasn’t a viable option at the time, but since this game is obviously a tribute to Game Boy games, I definitely envisioned it as a handheld experience. I’m really hoping to bring it to 3DS eventually.

Unity Games Japan prepared a new trailer for Wind-Up Knight below. It can be found below.

Image & Form recently took on a batch of community questions and answered them in a new video. Fans asked about platform-specific features, amiibo, and more. All of Image & Form’s answers are in the video below.

Renegade Kid is known in the horror genre for Dementium: The Ward. Interestingly enough, that game was originally pitched as a potential Silent Hill title for DS.
On Twitter earlier today, Renegade Kid co-founder Jools Watsham said:

Watsham also told IGN:

Our goal was always to release The Ward as an original game, but we were also open to the idea of turning it into a licensed horror game and approached Konami to see if they wanted to work together to mold it into a Silent Hill game for the Nintendo DS.
They were kind enough to meet with us, but the meeting only lasted a few minutes and ended with their [representative] saying they wouldn’t let a team like us handle the Silent Hill license.

That was Renegade Kid’s first pitch in 2007. The studio reached out to Konami again a few years later, with a new pitch based on the Dementium II engine. Sadly, Konami still wasn’t open to the idea.
“Konami’s response that time wasn’t dismissive like the first time,” Watsham mentioned to IGN. “They simply didn’t want to venture into the DS space with a horror title at that time.”
