MixedBag’s Futurium EP Deluxe has been out on Wii U for a while. The New Nintendo 3DS version of the game, meanwhile, took a bit longer to develop, but it’s looking like the wait will soon be over. MixedBag announced on Twitter that the New 3DS version has passed Nintendo’s internal lot check, meaning that as far as Nintendo is concerned, the game is ready to be released on their platforms. MixedBag also confirmed cross-buy with the Wii U version and that the game would run at 60 fps in 3D. A concrete release date is coming soon.

This coming week, Power Disc Slam will be available in North America. The eShop says it’ll be out on August 18 for $7.49.

In Europe, Power Disc Slam launched on July 28.

Here’s an overview from the eShop listing:

Power Disc Slam is no simple throw-about in the park with your dog – it’s an intense arcade sports game pitting you against the best. Choose your favourite character and take to the court to show off your skills. Learn how to slide, spin and trick your opponents.

Watch out for Cooper’s fearsome power, Mariana’s speed, Henrik’s long reach and Adeline’s trickery! Be alert, as each surface plays differently and the scoring layouts change. Practise your skills in Free Play, then go up against the challenge of the Arcade mode.

Try to win all of the cups, see how many opponents you can beat in Survival mode, or compete for the best score in 48 minigame levels across six different games. When you’re ready, challenge your friends with Local Play, or connect to the internet* and play matches against players from around the world.

Can you become a Power Disc Slam master?

The studio recently announced via Twitter:

360 Breakout made it out last week as one of the newest games on the Wii U eShop. Check out some footage below.

The eShop has populated with news about one of the game’s heading to North America next week. On August 18, Ratilakia Games will publish the digital game Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition.

Blasting Agent was previously confirmed for next week in Europe.

Here are some screenshots and an overview from the eShop listing:

Axiom Verge might be making its way to Wii U early next month. On the eShop, a date of September 1 appeared, though only briefly. It also showed for a short time as an upcoming title, but has since been removed from the section. Visiting Axiom Verge’s eShop page now simply shows a date of “TBD”.

There are one of two possibilities here. Either Nintendo didn’t want folks knowing about Axiom Verge’s release date yet, or a mistake was made. We do know that September 1 is a Thursday – when most digital games are out. September 1 would also still fit in with the planned summer launch.

In any case, we should be hearing about when Axiom Verge is coming in the very near future. We’ve included an overview and some screenshots from the eShop listing below.

Collateral Thinking was originally supposed to end up on the North American Wii U eShop this week. That didn’t happen though, with developer Astrosaurus Games telling us that a “few paperwork hiccups” prompted a short delay.

Collateral Thinking will now be released in North America next Thursday. It’s the same day as the PAL launch, so all territories will be receiving it at the same time.

If you want to give Collateral Thinking a try ahead of time, head on over here for a PC demo.

A new trailer has just been released for Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition. You can view the trailer below.

Next week, Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition is heading to the European eShop. A listing on the store only has a release date of August 18 for the 3DS version, though we’re certain it will arrive for Wii U on the same day. Pricing is set at €2.99.

Here’s an overview of Blasting Agent:

The Black Hand of Fate, an international terrorist group, has constructed a secret base within the heart of a Volcano, and have built a massive army of bio-engineered soldiers and genetic monsters to take over the world! You are the only one that can put a stop to their dastardly plans. You are the Blasting Agent!
