In the latest trailer for Super Mario Maker, the game’s Japanese packaging was unveiled. What you see above is the “box” it will come in. And inside is the Super Mario Maker disc (with its own boxart) and artbook.
It’s basically a throwback to the boxart for the original Super Mario Bros. on Famicom! Pretty neat stuff.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Monster Hunter X is once again featured in this week’s issue of Famitsu. Some of the included information has already leaked out, including details about the Hunting Style feature as well as the monsters Gamut and Hororo-Horuru. We’ve rounded everything up in the summary below.
Hunting Style feature
– Guild Style: a well-balanced and basic Hunting Style
– This Style is the closest to how you’ve played in past Monster Hunter titles
– Striker Style: an attack-minded Style that specializes in Hunting Arts
– Not as technical, but it will allow you to set up to three Hunting Arts
– Aerial Style: a Style that lets you freely attack in mid-air
– This is done by using the monster as a platform to pull off a special jump attack
– Bushido Style: evade monster attacks for a chance to perform powerful counter moves
– It can turn a dangerous moment into an opportunity, but isn’t recommended for beginners
Gamut
– Fanged Beast monster
– Gamuts are aggressive herbivores
– Long trunks and large bodies are used to attack their foes
– Gamuts can suck you up with their trunks, use breath attacks that cover a wide area, and launch rocks with precision
“Hororo-Horuru”
– New Bird Wyvern-type monster
– Prefers being in the dark
– Uses its sharp claws of its wings and feet to strike enemies from above
– They also have special scales inside their feather that puts you in an unconscious state upon inhaling, which temporarily unable to move
– The Hororo-Horuru can shoot giant laser-like sound wave attacks
– If you’re hit with this, you’ll be in a “Pinch” status
– Unclear what the status means currently

Dragon Quest X, Dragon Quest XI are coming to NX
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Switch | 130 Comments
Update: Square Enix’s official press release says that when it comes to Dragon Quest XI, the company is “considering launching on Nintendo’s in development NX platform”. Dragon Quest X isn’t mentioned in the statement, though the same probably holds true for Dragon Quest X. It’s likely that both games will be formally confirmed when NX is revealed next year.
NX hasn’t been officially revealed by Nintendo yet, but the system already has a pair of game announcements. Square Enix confirmed during the “Dragon Quest New Title Presentation” today that both Dragon Quest X and Dragon Quest XI are coming to the system.
We’re assuming that NX is a console, which means that Nintendo fans would be able to play both versions of Dragon Quest XI. Here’s a look at the PlayStation 4 version in action:
Square Enix hopes to have Dragon Quest XI ready to launch within the series’ 30th anniversary. Officially, that’s in May of next year.
