Nintendo updated the Japanese 3DS app Collectible Badge Center with new Pikmin unlockables. You can get a look at them in the video below.

Based on Media Create data, Bravely Second sold 100,000 copies in its first week. How does that stack up to the first game?

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy ended up selling 142,000 copies in its first week. It also had a higher sell-through rate of 85.68 percent compared to Bravely Second’s 53.53 percent.

Media Create points out that Bravely Second is a direct sequel, so buyers were pretty much limited to those who tried out the original game, and it doesn’t look like it managed to attract the same amount of players. It’ll be interesting to see how Bravely Second sells during Golden Week.

Nintendo has pushed out updates for the StreetPass Mii Plaza and Girls Mode 3 in Japan.

StreetPass Mii Plaza has now been patched to version 4.1. The update is all about addressing unnamed bugs and improving stability. At the moment, it’s not available in either North America or Europe.

The new version of Girls Mode 3 is now 1.1.0. This addresses a couple of things. First, Nintendo fixed a bug which gave the wrong western-style cloth when purchasing one from hangers or torsos inside other players’ StreetPass rooms or inside a room which Kimi gave. Nintendo also fixed display names for various transparent hangers and transparent torsos.

Famitsu has gone live with the first screenshots from Princess PreCure: Sugar Kingdom and the Six Princesses. You can find them below.

Additionally, we have a few more details about the game. As previously reported, Princess PreCure: Sugar Kingdom and the Six Princesses is a match-three puzzle game. In order to clear them from the puzzle, players need to line up the same colored gummies. Doing so provides characters and costume stickers that can be used for decorations.

Zetsuborg will also come into play while taking on puzzles. The only way to damage these creatures is by erasing gummies. Doing so eventually clears the stage.

Square Enix is distributing new Bravely Second costumes for Edea, Magnolia, and Yu via a StreetPass event in Japan.

Here’s where fans can obtain the costumes:

Edea – Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Akiba shop in Tokyo
Magnolia – Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Umeda in Osaka
Yu – Futaba Tosho TERA Wonder City Store at Nagoya

In order to participate in the StreetPass event, players will need to have reached a certain point early in the game. They’ll find the Swordmaster Asterisk Holder Kamiizumi (StreetPassizumi), who comes in different forms, after StreetPassing. Players won’t be able to summon friends to fight against the StreetPassizumi, but he’s apparently weaker than average and scales to their level.
