Ken Sugimori has played a very prominent role in the Pokemon series. He not only drew all of the original 151 Pokemon personally, but has also contributed to the movies, trading cards, and video games.
Now, while Sugimori is generally associated with Pokemon, he has worked with other companies and IPs. His latest creation? The boxart for SEGA 3D Reprint Archives. You can definitely see his style sprinkled throughout the image!

Club Nintendo Japan no longer offering gold and platinum rank, New 3DS ineligible for points
Posted on 10 years ago by Jarop(@gamrah) in General Nintendo, New Nintendo 3DS, News | 8 Comments
There are quite a few changes being made to the rewards system for Club Nintendo in Japan. First, it looks like the gold and platinum ranks will no longer exist come the end of this month, meaning the next lot of rewards being offered to gold and platinum members will be the last. To go along with this, no Club Nintendo points will be offered for registering a New 3DS and going forward only software titles will be eligble for points and not hardware units. At this time, all other regions remain unaffected, and you can check out the final offerings for gold and platinum members below: an exclusive Picross game and 2015 calendar for platinum and just the 2015 calendar for gold members.

Final Fantasy Explorers details
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
This week’s issue of Famitsu has a substantial update on Final Fantasy Explorers. There’s some recap of previously announced information, but there’s quite a bit new as well.
There will be roughly twenty jobs in the game, including the Geomancer. This job uses the surrounding ground to attack enemies and features moves like Earthquake and Sinkhole. If an enemy falls into a sinkhole, it will be hit with the Stop status effect.
Doryuasu is an original summon in Final Fantasy Explorers. It attacks with tentacles and powerful magic spells such as Earthquake. Poison mist emits from its body into surroundings and as such can cause poison, paralysis, and darkness status effects.
