Atlus has confirmed plans to release a special 3DS XL system for Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth. However, we don’t know much about the limited edition – including what it looks like.

We do have one additional tidbit about Persona Q though. First print copies, which are priced at 6,980 (same goes for the standard release), will include a Persona Q: Sound of the Labyrinth soundtrack CD (pictured above).

Square Enix has shared several new details about Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call. Read up on the latest batch below.

– New “Critical Hit Trigger”
– Use this functionality to execute a critical hit for more damage against enemies
– Get a chance of acquiring items as well
– New “Daily Feature” track shows a new track each day
– Clear the daily feature track to earn x1.5 the average Rhythm Points
– Can also acquire more Rhythm Points by clearing stages without missing
– Use the points to add bonuses to selected characters
– EX Burst Gauge will be filled when hitting the notes on beat
– Once full, you can choose from 9 different EX Burst skills that can be used to put your versus opponent in a disadvantageous position
– Stoic Judge skill: make all of your opponents’ notes be ruled as “bad” except for their critical notes
– If you happen to run into a Fat Chocobo, you’ll receive different treasures
– Fat Chocobos appear randomly
– Museum feature shows records, music, videos, and “CollectaCards”
– More cards to collect this time around
– Cards will have their own rarity ranks
– Short, medium, long quests
– Take on different maps and fight bosses in Quest Medley mode
– Earn rewards for defeating bosses
– Completed maps can also be shared with other players through StreetPass

– New class: Item Master
– Update also has an entire finishing mini-game with sharks
– Opening of the cooking guild
– More housing furniture
– Item Master can enhance items used in combat
– Can control some minions as well
– Command machine and material family-type monsters, such as what appears to be a Killing Machine or Restless Armor monster
– Item Master and other classes will benefit from a rise in skill levels to 130 (up from 100)
– This adds new limit breaks such as the Super Falcon Sword skill or casting ever more powerful spells such as Kaboomle
– New furniture additions include jackpot machines
– Unclear if they’re playable
– New monster incarnations
– Update 2.1 out on February 27

A few new Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth details have surfaced from Famitsu. You can find the information rounded up below.

– Other Persona 3 and 4 party members can now use alternate Personas
– These are known as “Sub-Personas”
– In the story, characters gain this power somehow by way of the two protagonists meeting each other
– Has something to do with their Wild Card power
– Boost meter is built up by exploiting enemy weaknesses
– Characters who manage to enter a Boosted state can on their next turn use their skills for free and jump ahead in line in terms of attack priority
– Follow-up attacks that are performed when another character has taken their turn
– All-Out Attacks have a higher chance of triggering as more and more characters enter a Boosted state
– Party chatter between members can change depending on who’s fighting with you
– Unclear if this is just for battles or if it can include conversations outside of fights
