This week’s Famitsu review scores are as follows:

Dragon Quest Monsters 2 (3DS) – 10/9/9/9
Puyo Puyo Tetris (Wii U/PS3/3DS/PSV) – 9/9/9/8
Super Heroine Chronicle (PS3/PSV) – 8/7/7/7
Daisenryaku Perfect: Senjou no Hasha (PS3) – 6/6/5/5

Since launch, the 3DS family has sold over 15 million units in Japan, Famitsu reports today. The site’s article is based on data collected by parent company Enterbrain.

Specific sales of Nintendo’s portable come in 15,037,116 units as of January 26. The feat was accomplished in 153 weeks.

Top selling games on the 3DS are as follows:

1. Pokemon X/Y – 4,228,244
2. Animal Crossing: New Leaf – 4,072,068
3. Monster Hunter 4 – 3,383,004
4. New Super Mario Bros. 2 – 2,250,416
5. Mario Kart 7 – 2,188,873

Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games has received a small update in Japan. Version 1.2.0 addresses an error experienced when players attempted to exit the Wii MotionPlus’s Operations screen before the start of the game.

This update might be available in North America and Europe as well. If you have a copy of the game in either of these two territories and have managed to download update 1.2, let us know!

Capcom has gone ahead and opened the official Japanese website for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, or Monster Hunter 4G. Access it here. The site houses Ultimate’s debut teaser, but that’s mostly it for now.
