PEGI rates Inazuma Eleven for 3DS
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 0 comments
European ratings board PEGI has listed “Inazuma Eleven” for 3DS in its database.
It doesn’t appear to be related to the upcoming release of Team Ogre Attacks, and interestingly, the name was filed by Level-5 International America. Nintendo of Europe has been associated all previous Inazuma Eleven ratings, but not this one.
It’s even more interesting when you consider that “Inazuma Eleven” was recently listed on Nintendo’s US site. Although it was eventually removed, today’s PEGI rating may indicate that some sort of new Inazuma Eleven product is coming to North America and Europe.

Level-5 files trademark for “Yo-kai Watch” in the US

Youkai Watch may have a shot of getting an overseas release. In the US, Level-5 recently filed a trademark for the name “Yo-kai Watch”. The company clearly wants the name protected in the states for some reason, so we’re hoping this is a sign that the 3DS game will be coming over in the future.

Level-5’s Omasse Rental Weapon Shop rated by the OFLC, could be heading west
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS eShop, News | 1 Comment
Omasse Rental Weapon Shop was the only game in the Guild01 series not to be released on the western 3DS eShop. That could be changing soon though, based on a new rating from the OFLC.
The Australian classification board added a new entry to its database today for “Omasse Rental Weapon Shop”. Such a listing is a strong sign that the title will finally head to North America and Europe. Hopefully we’ll be hearing something official from Level-5 soon.

Level-5 teases future plans, CEO wants to make a game that surprises fans
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in General Nintendo, News | 0 comments
Two significant Level-5 developers shared teases about what lies ahead for the company as part of a feature on Japanese publication 4Gamer.
Director Atsushi Sugano first told the site:
“In 2013, we released Fantasy Life Link!, which corresponded to our ‘connecting’ network theme. That was our answer to those from our development staff and players who voiced ‘I want to play more,’ and I’m grateful we were able to meet those expectations.”
“Again, while I can’t say more, there’s one more approach through which we’re currently challenging ourselves. I believe that ‘even if we go against predictions, expectations must be met’ when it comes to creativity.”
“We’re all currently working at our best to prepare something, so please wait just a little longer.”
Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino was next. He stated the following:
“In the midst of a rather sluggish consumer game industry at the moment, I believe that the industry needs a ‘new game’. We’ll try our best to make a new title that’ll surprise all of you, so please look forward to that.”

Nintendo lists Inazuma Eleven for release in the US for Q1 2014
Posted on 10 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, News | 6 Comments
Inazuma Eleven may finally make its debut in the US, if a listing on Nintendo’s website is to be believed. An inclusion on the company’s release calender page includes a Q1 2014 launch for “Inazuma Eleven” without any further details.
Nintendo has yet to announce any of the Inazuma Eleven titles for North America. Could this listing be nothing more than an error?
If it is indeed legitimate, we’re hoping that Inazuma Eleven 1-2-3 will make its way over rather than simply the first game, as the former product bundles together the series’ first three releases.
