Recently, the newest Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial was announced for North America and Europe, and it was Dragon Quest Builders 2. Now Japan’s own exclusive game trial has been revealed as the detective adventure game Buddy Mission BOND.

This Game Trial will be available from April 28 to May 5, and it allows players to have full access to the game in that time frame. Additionally, the game will have a 30% discount in the Japanese eShop reducing the price from 7128 yen to 4989 yen. All that is needed to use this trial is a Japanese eShop account, and a Japanese membership for Nintendo Switch Online.

More news stemming from this week’s Nintendo Switch Online leak has come in, as information about unreleased NES titles has now surfaced.

Much has been made of emulators for Game Boy and Game Boy Color as well as the Game Boy Advance. However, it’s also been discovered that the same leak contains a different version of the NES application, which has all of the currently available titles plus ones that are not currently live. Pac-Man, Tetris, Galaga, Mega Man, and Castlevania are among them.

Original: Nintendo has announced that Nintendo Switch Online members in Europe will be able to try out Dragon Quest Builders 2 as part of their latest Switch Online Game Trial. Players will be able to experience the entire game for free during the trial’s duration, from April 20th to April 26th. All progress will also carry over to the full game.

Following today’s leak regarding Nintendo Switch Online, Twitter user Mondo_Mega has come forward with a list of GBA games that have apparently been tested for the service.

A number of heavy hitters are here. You’ve got top releases from Nintendo like Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones, Golden Sun, and Wario Land 4. Third-party games such as Astro Boy: Omega Factor, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Mega Man Battle Network 2 were apparently tested as well.

Speculation about Game Boy and Game Boy Color games joining Nintendo Switch Online picked up last August. Fans were taken by surprise then the following month when N64 support was announced for the service instead as part of the new Expansion Pack tier. Months later, talk of Game Boy games on Switch Online is back in the news.

Out of nowhere, four files popped up today on 4chan. According to Twitter user trashbandatcoot, two of these are NSPs with a 7z archive that has loose NCAs. The 7z archive is called Hiyoko, which is a Game Boy emulator apparently made by NERD – Nintendo’s team that has worked on other classic platforms for Switch Online. There’s also a GBA emulator called Sloop.

Following the recent release of Mario Golf on Nintendo Switch Online, some new gameplay has just shown up for the title. About 26 minutes of footage are available.

Here’s a brief overview of the game:

mario golf comparison

Mario Golf debuted on Nintendo Switch Online today, and GameXplain has now put together a graphics comparison that includes Wii U and N64. We first get to see how things stack up between Switch and N64 before moving over to Switch and Wii U.

It’s clear that Mario Golf produces the clearest image on Switch. For one thing, the resolution the highest. The action was also much darker for the Wii U Virtual Console release, which has been fixed this time around.
